And I expect we will be an even bigger favorite against Rider who lost their best players to graduation and transfer and got slaughtered by 35 by the Cuse last night.
Seems to me these games are a great opportunity for coach to prepare for BE season. I'd like to see a plan to get Cole involved in the offense early and at some point in each game give minutes to Roberts, Toro, McGriff & Caraher (definitely not suggesting we play this group together but mixed in with scorers) so that they are confident and ready to go if needed during league play. Also seems like a good opportunity to have guys who've been playing big minutes (Anderson, Williams & Champ) play less minutes to be rested for UCONN.
Would be encouraging to see Moore & Duke playing closer to the basket than the three point line.
I was admittedly one who posted several times that Toro would be an upgrade down low and would expect if we are going to see any progress in that regard it would show in next two games.
Hopefully no surprises today. Just an opportunity to work on some things in live game action. I hope we see a little more of McGriff today. I do think we will need him down the line as I expect Posh to get himself in some foul trouble at some point this season. Little things like getting him some game action is probably a good thing.
Don't want to jinx us but one stat that stands out over first 4 games is all of our top 5 scorers are shooting at least 75% from the foul line. If that continues, it will undoubtedly win us a close game or two.
