Mamu has had like 6 games maybe 7 games with 12 or under points. Julian I'm not even sure has had less the 12. That being said Mamu will go for 40 after me writing this

Hopefully the staff is analyzing the type of player or players who were on Mamu in those games, and is formulating a plan.

Read somewhere that Penny is only player in the country that hasn't scored less than 12 points in any game this season.

Is it possible to win Saturday and still get the 6th seed? I think this might be best possible scenerio in that if we are the 6th seed we play Wednedsy night and we could get an extra win.

If we win tomorrow we will be tied with the hall.  I beleieve we get the higher seed because we split with them and beat nova.

--- Sounds like a good idea in theory. But we don't have the bigs of the other BE teams. Maybe Earlington, w his strength could help contain him.

In our first game against the Hall both Moore and Wusu scored 2 points while Earlington had 1. Shouldn't happen on Saturday, especially since Moore will get more minutes. Expect we will stop Mamu from driving left and scoring down low with double team help. Got away keeping Cale and Rhoden from scoring double figures last game, hope it happens again.

I was wondering how Moore would do guarding Mamu. Not strong enough to keep him away from the hoop but long enough to alter his shot perhaps and definetly has the foot speed to guard him on the perimeter which is important. I couldn't remember anything about the first game other than Mamu torching us over and over. Going back to the boxscore and Moore picked up 3 fouls in only 9 minutes of play which may have been a factor. Moore seems to have developed in every way since then. Maybe he can be the difference maker in this one if he gets that assignment?

I don't think we need to completely shut him down to win, but he can't score 32 again.

Very hard to make a line w/o knowing Posh's status. With him I'd make us a 2 to three point favorite w/o him pick em or Hall by 1.
Odds aside, we have a great chance to finish on a super high note and kick all the pre-season naysayers to the curb with a win tomorrow. Let's go Johnnies!!

Let's hope Posh can do a Willis Reed trick and hit his first couple of threes than we can all relax.

Keep nitroglycerin pills handy for close one v senior laden rivals who need this one as badly as we do.

I told my wife, who’s an RN, to stand by with a portable defibrillator.  I may need it several times tonight!

My guess is Willard has been pouring over tape.  Expect their game plan will be to attack us in the paint.  We just have to play our game and hope to take them off theirs.

Tough game but Johnnies prevail. . .experience an advantage for SH but I like our team better if they play to abilities. . .Mamu very good all others can be defended. . .Obiagu avoid overplaying to deny ball. . . Let him shoot

Seton hall is now a 1.5 favorite.

Conspiracy theorist fodder: BE wants seton hall win to solidify another tourney team with Nova and Creighton post season play seeming more unstable. A SH win and they are probably in. A St. John’s win and both might lose out.

Or maybe it means Posh is out.

No conspiracy, it's like the fourth time this year SJU opened as favorite and close as underdog. We are the one team Vegas can't figure out.
