Lord I can’t wait to beat them. If there was a fan base that needed to be put on its ass the pirates are definitely it.

If you were to ask me a week ago, I would have said we lose this game. However, the team has shown its truer colors in the last 2 games. I think they have an extra level they're going to hit once conference play starts. Ponds has shown he can score at will and most recently that he can make others around him better. Let's win this one and legitimize our record. Time to shut the critics up!

See Hall shot 86% from foul line while Maryland was 60%. That was the ballgame right there. Happy to see we hit our foul shots tonight, need to do that next week as well.

They are much better than I thought they would be this year and nice win at Maryland. That being said next Saturday we silence them and become officially top 25

Nail biter that could go either way. Best team we have had in a while, but Prudential Center has not been kind to SJU. Secondly, Seton Hall after Kentucky & Maryland wins certainly will be confident. The idea of SJU blowing them out seems a reach. Buckle up!

I've only been to the Prudential center a couple of times for St johns games against SH. From what I remember, seton hall does not get great support from fans there.

Students being on break will lend us a hand here, crowd shouldn’t be too crazy and hopefully we get some fans there. We played a really close game at the prudential last year and that was when SH was stacked with seniors and we were missing Ponds I believe. either way, like paultz said, this game is almost guaranteed to be tied with like 3 minutes left, we will see who can make the big plays down the stretch

Per Jerry Carino
As of yesterday there were a little more than 8,000 tickets out for Seton Hall-St. John's. After yesterday I will be shocked if it doesn't sell out.

Holy Crap! That really sucks if true. I see it is on FSN and Hornets who are also on FSN are playing that night, so you are probably right.

Hope you can access the game on the internet!

That's my plan. Will stream it through my phone and cast it to the tv

My biggest concern is offensive rebounding. If we are not shooting well it could be a long night.

I think we need to put a lot of pressure on them taking the ball up in the backcourt and slow them down. Mix up some real traps with even token traps and make them work and use up clock.

They’re bigger than us but their rebounding stats as a team are poor. Myles Powell needs to be a priority and Myles Cale can score too. Will need 40 minutes from our guys. We’ve got to play our best game yet. Driving a ton to draw fouls like last game is imperative. Will be a tough one but I have no doubt we have the talent to do it.

The level of intensity is going to be very high. The team that can play the "hardest" over 40 minutes will come out on top. Foul situation will be crucial. The team that plays "D" without fouling and getting a key player or getting onto the 1-1 to early will win. This will be a hard fought game. As my old CYO coach would say "As an individual you need to do whatever it takes for your team to win"

One of Clark's recent areas of improvement is avoiding silly reach in fouls and staying on the court. We will really need him to continue that Saturday night as I doubt Keita will play; sounds like he is more likely to play against Marquette next Tuesday. Clark needs to avoid getting tangled up with Mamukelashvii and picking up quick fouls early. We can beat Hall w/o Keita but not w/o Clark playing big minutes.

If we're behind down the stretch in a close game and Mamu's on the court foul him every time he touches the ball.
