Seton Hall coming off 2 straight losses and has had a week to prepare for us.  This game could go down as the Massacre at Madison.

Wouldn't shock me one bit
No confidence in this team at the present time
Too many games with minimal to no effort
There is no excuse for a lack of effort!!!!

I bet we win.

Most of you guys were optimistic going into the Creighton game and now you’re all ready to jump off a cliff after one bad game. To a team we rarely beat, in a building we never win in, I should add.

Wish it was just one bad game. It’s been all season long. Even in the lackluster wins.

Massacre at the Mecca.

More Seton Halls fans there than us. SH fans are within a short train ride, and they all love NYC and its delights. Nothing like Newark or South Orange.

Could be ugly, but I'll be rooting for the Johnnies.

As great as MSG is a lot of alumni from other schools live in NYC , a chance for them to see their alma mata at MSG. Unless we are top 25, we loose some of our home court advantage. UCON, Nova, Cuse, SHU, Duke will draw as many fans as we do.

I don’t disagree with this. My point was the swings of emotions on this board are very wild and tempestuous so I wouldn’t be surprised to see this team win on Saturday just…because.

Yes root got the Johnnies ,what else can we do. But remember we have the same team that just got destroyed

You're right. The only good win we had was Gtown and there was a few minutes of sloppy play in that game also.

I'm going with 77-63. Wusu with a triple double. Several Big 12 and SEC schools send out back channel feelers after the game. Anderson thread goes silent until following game.

Admittedly, I don’t think CMA can compete with bama football offer.

Eh we'll probably be favored by a point or two, so winning this wouldn't be anything shocking. Really need this one to keep the season alive.

Only one way to combat their fans outnumbering ours, and it's not on CMA.

FWIW, Georgetown did have a considerable number of fans in the Garden last week, located behind the basket near the Georgetown bench.   They were silent until Georgetown made a little run in the second half.   I would say they drew close to 1,000 of their fans.

I think it would be shocking if we won.  Aiken, Rhoden, Cale, Obiagu, Richmond etc.  They are much more talented then we are.  We need to face reality here as St Johns fans.  This team is not good and are not going to win many big east games.

Winable game that we will probably lose because our inability to keep other teams out of the paint.

In addition to our inability to make layups and the inability of our staring Pg and starting shooting guard to even take a three point shot much less actually make one.

If Posh ever wants to become a top tier collegiate PG he has to become at least a proficient jump shooter. Otherwise , a good team will just back off and take every other option away from him. Mathis also at least has to attempt some three point shots. And, in the off-season, If these guy are coming back, they should be get a shooting coach in here and have those guys take 500 shots a day!

St. John's is a 4.5 point underdog tomorrow at MSG v SH

We loose when I think we're gonna win, and we win when i think we're gonna loose. There is no team in the Big East that we cannot beat when we play well(we don't have to play great), and no team that we cannot to loose to when we don't. Nothing  this team does ever shocks me, although the Creighton blow out did come close.
