I have a prior commitment from 7 a.m. to about 1:45 Saturday so will have to miss this one.  Maybe that will bring us luck!

I've been disappointed our Fans have not been as vocal this year at Home games . I haven't seen 1 fan get out of their Seat to yell at Refs , the opponent or , yell Air Ball . Yet, none have posted here about the Heat , Hot dogs or uncomfortable seats .  And , why don't the TV announcers acknowledge a few of our Cardboard fans ? So far , they have shown up at every Game . Also , anyone here on Redmen .com have a Cardboard sit in ? It would be fun to know .  Who are those guys ? .

I've watched Marquette a lot this season, including last night. Not saying that we can't win, but they are a much more talented team then us this year and it's gonna be tough to beat them.  For starters, they have an extremely mobile Top 25  7' big man in Garcia, to pair up with tough as nails Theo John. Those 2 alone could cause us fits down low. Carton has been playing well and they can score from outside. We will need to bring our A+ game to beat them IMO. We'll also need a huge game from Champ. How we played yesterday definitely won't cut it.

If CMA goes with the same starting lineup  then Roberts guards John and Champagnie has to guard Garcia. Posh on Carton, Dunn on McEwen and Williams on Cain.  Both Carton and Garcia go left so it behooves our defensive guys to overplay them. If we choose to closely guard Garcia outside he will drive and cause foul trouble. Don't let John get too low in the post, not a shooter away from the basket.  Have to box out both him and Garcia. If Champ is guarding the 6' 11" Garcia he better front him in the low post.

St. John's opens as a 1.5-point home underdog tomorrow against Marquette.

This is definitely a gettable game for us. Marquette is hit or miss as we are. Ive seen marquette look good.  Ive seen them look bad.  Hopefully we come with intensity and make them look bad.

Agreed, except Marquette is a more talented "hit or miss". Granted we are home, so that counts for something.  If I were a betting man, I'd take Marquette and lay the 2.5. Oh wait, I am.
