An epic fan meltdown coming if we lose this one.  CMA might never recover if they lose tonight.
I don't know about CMA, but its a good guess that if they win, you might recover for a few days.

Georgetown has to be licking their chops, waiting for this game.  I mean, how many legit chances at win do they see on their remaining schedule?  This certainly would qualify as one.

All they need to do is stay within 6 points or so, with about 3 minutes left.  That's when the "Anderson Factor" comes in.

Friend who is a Georgetown alum, he and his buddies say the same thing about Ewing. No lead is insurmountable for Ewing to relinquish in the second half.

Might be one of our few opportunities for victory as well. Let's get a W.

Really hope champ gets out of slump and get a w otherwise all hell will break loose on this board

Not to trivialize the upcoming Georgetown game but at the point of the season battling for the #9 place in an 11 team league is not critical.

Champ comes out of his slump. Posh scores a double double. SJU wins by 15. Just sayin.

Although you never know, at this point  we are most likely playing for pride. How we finish out this season in terms of effort and commitment, will go a long way towards my feelings about CMA and the team prospects heading in to the off season and for next season.

Not because I'm vindictive (I am) but I'd love for us put the nail in the coffin of Ewing's Georgetown career.   Well maybe because I'm vindictive.

How anyone could watch this team play and mike Anderson coach and make this prediction is mindboggling.  I would be surprised if we won tonight.

Despite my overall pessimism with the team and CMA's future, I do think we'll win this game fairly easily. Georgetown is ranked #198 and has lost 9 in a row, so expecting an easy win really isn't saying much about our team. It's saying much more about how bad Georgetown is. Regardless, I do want to grab whatever wins we can and hopefully keep as many contributors as possible here for next year. I think the odds of CMA being let go in a couple months are virtually zero, so there's no incentive to root against St. John's (even for people who want a quicker exit for CMA).

Exactly Adam, SJ will win this one and hopefully break the “Hinkle Jinx” the following game. The kids deserve a little sunlight too.

Will  always root for the team as will just about everyone of this site but can understand the disappointment in our recruiting, coach and players
we have never in advance saw an easy victory in yrs.GT has better shooters than us and we can not go by last game . They can very easily beat us by double digits
we can not rely on Champ from what we have seen in the last 4 games is now teams are pressuring with in your face D  and since he can not make his own shots his confidence is gone . Even when we got him and open shot it was bad. Champ can not get all the blame there is plenty to go around like not having shooters,CM ,staff etc
Now we must hope and team with limited offense along with other deficiencies should play like a top tier team.
well let’s all root hard and hope GT does beak out on us

Who did make a immediate call but , didn’t throw him out of the game .           But , although never a Knicks fan , you have to acknowledge Ewing’s long but , no Championship career with the Knickerbockers .              As for Coaching G ‘ Town . maybe being a HOF player like Mullin , isn’t the right recipe for success in College Coaching .   Ewing did well recruiting but , not keeping his Players . But , I can
understand why people want to see Ewing gone from Coaching .

Right, you're the only one allowed to make grandiose predictions.

Tonight’s game has the feel of what this rivalry has become and what it will probably remain for at least a few more years, a game between bottom feeders who along with De Paul compete for seeding in the Wednesday big east tournament games and nothing more.

You're not getting the positive attitude of the post. I hope this happens tonight. I'm not saying that it will.
