Was the team able to make it out OK, with the weather?

My flight to Tampa was cancelled this morning, though I think that had to do with low capacity, combined with the snow. Still, it was pretty nasty out there for a bit, and who knows what the Chicago weather is like?
Yes, Ponds on social media posted a video of him being in Chicago. I believe they flew out yesterday.
Can almost guarentee that Mullen did not reach out to him with an excuse either before or afterward
Can guarantee that you didn't spell Mullin right

Smart move.
Can almost guarentee that Mullen did not reach out to him with an excuse either before or afterward
I also think he could have been ours w the proper effort. I’m peeved about it., considering our need for a big who rebounds and has an inside game.
Our dance invitation is sitting there, waiting for us to take it by beating Depaul. If not, we have a good chance of ending the season on a 4 game losing streak, and there will be no bid this season.
NIT.

Cannot allow Olujobi and Reed to score 45 points again. Better box out both of these guys or they will Putbacks are a killer.. We were outrebounded 43 to 28, not a surprise
Ponds better show up offensively.
Simon has to do a better job then he did on Marshall.probably should guard Cain.If Heron doesn't show then Clark and Keita have to take on their two big guys. Figgy has to guard Strus and Ponds on Gage.
If DePaul has been watching then we should expect a zone. Mullin has to insist on penetration. Can't have the free throw differential 28 to 6 from the first match.
Got to love Mullin's comment on Redstorm Report yesterday,: "We have to learn from our mistakes." Really then why is Keita still switching and guarding the opposition's guard. Didn't you just love his defense against Goodin as he followed behind him as he scored on a layup.

Is Mustapha a game-time decision?
Not optimistic about the game, but we’d have a better chance with him than not.
I get the ball bounces ‘funny’game-game, refs hate us, we get bad matchups when tall trees plant themselves under the Boards, player performances vary game-game, but this team is too erratic and dysfunctional to believe.
Let’s go Johnnies.
Expect nada.
That’s our only chance.

Gotta get their bigs in foul trouble early in the game.

Johnnies a one point dog at DePaul, would then assume Heron plays?

Can't tell from that spread. Really not easy to bet on St. John's games.

Knight wrote SJU should get De Paul's bigs in foul trouble which made me think has SJU gone the whole season without getting an opponent in foul trouble?

First matchup against Marquette. Got Theo John in foul trouble which helped us blow them out. He’s their best inside presence. From what I’ve read that’s a problem of his, getting into foul trouble, so I guess we don’t deserve too much of a pat on the back

I’ve heard MH was leaning towards giving It a go tomorrow but I’m skeptical after seeing him walk around after the X game. We will find out around 11:30 tomorrow I suppose

Says I to Myself
Let’s just win one
Of the next two
Ohh how big bodies and rebounds
cause us to suffer
The obvious
Go Storm!

Surprised you fell into that one. You know what happens when one assumes... but actually doubt the odds makers have reliable intel on this.

Sense he plays, spent all day at “Tendons Are Us”

Chris Mullin tells me Mustapha Heron practiced today. Has to see how he feels tomorrow, but would seem that's positive news for tomorrow. "he's way better than he was two days ago." #sjubb

You do know that each game he sat out he was using a small portable therapy unit under his sweats and hence the altered walk. Per source, he has been receiving upwards of 4 hrs of therapy from the team’s athletic trainer each day.
