Seton Hall is favored by 13 over DePaul tomorrow. We will likely be double digit favorites, but obviously all Big East games are tough. Great opportunity to go 2 games above .500!

For St. John's rarefied air indeed. /media/kunena/emoticons/smile.png

The Johnnie's are expected to beat DePaul. They're currently 1-9 in conference play. Nothing can be taken for granted. The Johnnie's can't afford to let up their focus and intensity. A team being considered for the NCAA Tournament has to win games like this at home

The last three games after DePaul will be challenging. The Johnnie's need a win Saturday. I think they'll get a W when it matters most.

Every game, and every win is important from here.  Keep laser-focused and keep winning.

DeP has some decent players, and you never want to take anything for granted:

Posh and Champ, Dunn and Williams won't let that happen (I hope).

I am glad Dave L. is coaching DeP and not Wright or McDermott.

This might be the first time ever I'd consider a St Johns vs Depaul game at 7:30 on a saturday night exciting. The way we are playing plus Covid staying at home this is must see tv

Mike, leave it to st. John's to schedule it on a Saturday at 7:30 and the w/media/kunena/emoticons/tongue.pngeeknight games for 9:00 PM.

Pretty sure it's BE conference in tandem with Fox picking the schedule and start times.

Have to prevent Paulicap from looking like Shaq, especially his 16 points and 16 rebounds against us. Can't allow Moore to drive full court, stop his dribble.  No way we lose Saturday.

Good excuse for me to let Mrs. Ohiofan watch one of her crap movies on cable while I watch the game on laptop with headphones. I don't get many chances like this!

First DePaul game Cole had one of his better games, hopefully he can start to get his game back for the stretch run.  Also Williams missed the first game and Earlington did not do much.  Agree on Pauly with the boards but most were offensive for put backs--got to box him out.

Charlie Moore out tonight vs. Hall. Second game in a row missed due to knee injury. Freeman-Liberty out tonight too.

DePaul fought hard against Seton Hall.  While DePaul, being short-handed, didn't make good decisions down the stretch, I was not impressed by Seton Hall, which looks so much more ordinary than when we met them earlier in the season.  If Moore and JF-L are back for DePaul, with the way Pauly is playing, it could be a difficult but very winnable game.  Remember, DePaul won at Marquette (maybe because it is kind of a rivalry game for it).  Definitely looking forward to Saturday.

It goes without saying that this is a must win game.   That being said, I'm not that worried, and it isn't because it's in the bag or anything remotely close to that.

At this point in the season, if you want to be an NCAA team and you are playing the worst conference team at home, you must take care of business.  If you don't, you really aren't worthy of NCAA consideration.  Beating them wou;dn't prove we belong, but losing would prove we don't.

Our guys have worked much too hard to crawl out of that 1-5, 2-6 hole to not be ready for this one.   Winning will make the last 3 regular season games pretty damned exciting.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Right bama, not scheduled by St. John's; it's just I tease Maher that I can't stay up till the end of the 9:00 PM weeknight games. /media/kunena/emoticons/tongue.png

So this Saturday night sitting down to the tube at 7:30 PM I want to be BORED; a 30 point romp, we need one of those every now and then, wire to wire W, bring it to 'em boys.

Not a prediction just a hope for Brian (OLV72) who hates BORING games.

No question Saturday is a must win especially at this point if the season

Seton Hall not very impressive.   First game just killed us and St. John's didn't shoot well at all
