Johnnies getting 7.5 now on William Hill. A lot of money going on Creighton

Creighton writer’s take;

Predictions
ESPN’s BPI: Creighton’s win probability is 60.9%

KenPom: Creighton wins, 83-77

Jon Nyatawa’s take: The Jays went 6-1 in games following a defeat last year. They often did that with willpower and desire. Because they weren’t always sharp during those nights as they continued to work through issues. They likely won’t have everything fixed by Thursday, either. But a Creighton squad, full of veterans, should find a way to respond after a disappointing night against Marquette. I’ll take the Jays, 86-79.

If that happens, I predict a "Fire Mike Anderson" thread starts immediately after the game.
:)

I see absolutely no way we win this game. Of course, because we are St. John's, that's exactly why we could pull a rabbit out of a hat.

I think that we can expect to win some games we thought we would lose and lose games, like Gtown, where we thought we should win during this Covid year. It is going to be a strange year and tough to build momentum for any team due to shutdowns and cancellations. Enjoy the wins and don't get so down on the losses and look forward to better days!

No way is there going to be a 184 pt game. But I do think we cover the 7 pt spread.

Keys to the game:

1- Make your 3s
2- Dont leave creighton wide open for 3s
3- play Earlington 30 minutes

We do those 3 things we win the game.

Only 30?

This is why I wouldn't be shocked one bit if we win tonight (if a couple of thousand fans were attendance, I'd be confident in a win tonight). If we win tonight, then expect us to be 2-2 in conference play after Sunday's game.

He didn't say who would get the 111. :)

I took the bait, although I did it in a 2 team teaser getting an extra 4.5 points. SJU +11.5 and Marquette +1 over SH.

Tonight will be a good test for the Johnnie's. Are Posh,Isiah, and the other new players ready for the Big East?

Isaiah was a Third Team NJCAA All-American led the Wildcats to an undefeated 28-0 record. Let's see some of that leadership and talent against Craighton.

The Johnnie's have plenty of talent. It's time to get serious and compete in the BE. I want to see some attitude and team pride when they play.
