The way Creighton bangs down threes, this is a 15 point loss. Our pressure will not bother Zegarowski.

We need to run them off the three point line. It’s that simple. They hit threes at a high rate. Force them into taking 2pt shots. It’s going to be tough to turn them over 20 times with a top flight PG but who knows.
We gave Creighton fits last year. but right now, this team is not as good as last years team.
Last year I think we played them later in the season when we had our defense a lot more in sync than it is now with the five new guys still learning the system. That’s what scares the hell out of me. If we give these guys open look threes we’ll get blown out the building!

Creighton executes offensively as well as anyone in the country. I suspect our D neglect to date will be really exposed in this one. Our new players may be in store for a learning lesson that hopefully translates to betterment as season progresses. (“Hopefully” being the operative word.)

We have depth though, deepest team in memory. Not sure Creighton is aware of that.

And Creighton is better. And there won't be much of a homecourt advantage absent fans.

So I think its unanimous that nobody sees a lot of upside for this game. Except Zaun, of course. When SJU loses, he wins.

I am sure Zaun would like to see us win,but the simple fact is we are not that good ,team is full of holes and 40 min of hell hasn’t cut it . I know I shouldn’t say this but it’s possible we don’t win 5 games in confr.think coach has to change his run and gun does not work for all
Perhaps next yr when we had a stronger team it will work. Hey,but maybe something happens and the team makes a complete turn around and starts winning,I will be the first to applaud

So what would give us the best chance against Creighton?

Slingshot from upper level seats at their 3 point shooters asses when getting ready to tee them up?

Option 1 is a blizzard and they forfeit.

The puncher's chance option is they decide to run up and down with us all night, they're cold from 3 and we are hot.

When posters question the coach at all or suggest for a second we are not good, that somehow turns into, "Zaun doesn't want us to win". Again, this is the only fanbase that is so sensitive to any critique regardless of if it's true or not.

Of course v us, this will improve :)

Greg McDermott on the #Jays' FT shooting: "In another big game, we really struggled to make them, which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. Because in practice these guys have done a really good job with that.”
9-18 at KU. 14-25 vs. Marquette.
