Butler is a winnable game. Problem is twofold: only 2 days rest, then travel to Indiana; also, Creighton plays small, so no big was not a problem. Without Roberts at full steam, win may be difficult.

Roberts shoulder? Sears finally stepped up today for a change! Awesome 3's and made my day to see a win at home! Last Butler game we should have won - too many losses by 5 or less! Go Storm & beat Butler!
Serious question. When was the last time we won @ Butler, if ever?
Yes, 2014, first year of the new big east.
Since then 0-5 with a -101 point differential, blowout city.

Very enjoyable team and very enjoyable year. Ups & downs for sure, but these kids play hard and are coached well and that is all we can ask for. Better days ahead!

Gotta make Butler uncomfortable for 40 mins much like Creighton was. We owe them after they stole one in CA the first Big East game of the season. Hope we keep playing with the same rhythm and unselfishness. The shots we got against Creighton were in rhythm, shots we practice everyday. If we can hit shots and turn them over, we might get them. Doesn’t have to be 14, but maybe 7 or 8. Attack the hole and get to the line.

If we can hold Baldwin and McDermott as we did with Zagarowski and Ballock we can win this game, Golden has improved, can hit the outside shot. Let's not leave McDermott and Tucker open behind the three point line. Baldwin is a winner and should be a first round pick. Still can't believe thier senior David beat us with a three from the corner.

We’ll have a better chance if we score more than 16 points in the first half.

Tweet from Zach B.
Hearing St Johns forward Josh Roberts will be a game time decision Wednesday against Butler. Shoulder is pretty banged up. #sjubb

I actually consider this to be good news. He had trouble moving it on Sunday. I feared a dislocation.

St. John's is an 8.5-point underdog tomorow at Butler.

Not a good road team

I know this is silly to even ask, but lets say St Johns wins tonight. What would it take for them to get into the ncaa tourney?

Win tonight, win against marquette, beat gtown in 1st round, beat seton hall in rnd 2 , lose to nova.

Would that get us in?

Yes,but tonight's game will be the hardest to overcome. I can definitely see us beating the other 3 teams you mentioned.

First game-Heron hurt, DNP; Figgy "Zero" points; we scored 16 points in the first half but held Butler to 23 points in the second half.
I think we have a chance here, even though we're on the road.

Let's hope Greg Williams hot shooting streak continues into this game.

The Johnnies have to make 3's to win against Butler.

There's not much else to say. Can the Johnnies pull out another surprise upset? We'll find out this evening. B)

Yeah, no problem winning back to back games in BE Tournament, including a win over the best team in the league. LOL. We need to win the BE Tournament to dance
