Too bad for Dunn who is a great kid.let’s hope this is the last game he sits out and that it is purely precautionary. Will be another opportunity for Wusu to continue to show what he has which has been a very pleasant surprise to date. Depth is so important as we have learned the past few seasons and this is just one of those unfortunate injuries that are part of the game that provide opportunities for others.

It may not be a bad idea to hold him out of Texas Tech as well since that game would require flights. Why take the chance with the young man's health unless you are 100% sure he will be ok.

I'm really happy they are on the schedule but it's too bad no fans. They were a great rival in the Big East. I think they lost their regional identity athletically when they left the big east. Hopefully kept on schedule in future
St. John’s opens as 2-point favorite over Boston College tomorrow.
Two games under our belt with improvement. Weekend off to prep. Time to show these guys who we are tomorrow. Looking forward to this one.

A synopsis of an article
BC has an ambitious early schedule but it is one they do not have to travel much early on. They played pretty well against Nova and beat RI
Heath is a good guard, became the first BC Freshmen to lead BC in scoring in 7 yrs they are expecting him to do well
Winston Tabs is back was the only freshmen to avg 15.8 pts, 4.6 rebounds,3.2 aisists and 1 steal PG Altough he required knee surgery early last yr and a second surgery on the same knee later. He is now back and they hope he will play well
They seem pumped to play us now. They can go big or small with players that may start or could come off the bench
This will not be easy but if we continue to improve and play our defense and play good basketball and hit shots can not see why we can not win this game unless we have a let down

Still unsure if Heath will play with foot injury from Nova game I believe.

Honestly have no idea what to expect here. BC will finish at bottom of ACC no doubt, but hope our injuries don't cost us.

Boston College has played very well in the couple of games they’ve had so far to open the season. This will not be an easy game for us. We have to come out on our game right from the start. We have to defend for 40 minutes or we will not win.

We are shooting 84% from the line and BC is shooting 60%. It’s only 2 games but a big discrepancy. Can be an advantage for us in a close one or one with lots of fouls. Heath is their leading scorer. Will be interesting to see if he plays or not. Big factor too.

Off this e subject but was just watching a HS game and watch Jaden Hardy best offensive player in the country has 21 offers think we offered lol

Well now especially it’s going to come down to defense. They have a few guys that can score and rebound. Need to play some CMA-style defense unlike prior games.

In a guards game this one will be fun and nail biter I suspect. With Dunn out, Posh must avoid reach in, silly fouls.

Still dislike BC for the whole Big East defection to the ill-fitting ACC. Once was up in Boston right after their departure and all these fans were in town for a BC-Clemson football game, it felt weird with these hicks from the sticks of SC in an urbane city. They were literally looking up at the Pru and John Hancock buildings and marveling at how tall the buildings were.

Not that I like Uconn, but Bc screwed them on the budding football rivalry when they bolted for the ACC.

Anyway, go Johnnies, and win lopsidedly against an old rival.
