Long time poster and 114 member and most importantly long time friend Weathermannyc today is starting to go through the start of what could be a very serious medical thing without getting into details. All you guys that met him know he is one of the best guys anyone could know so all prayers and good wishes are much appreciated

I spoke with him last night.  He's in good spirits and I know he will get through this.  Despite the Mets and Jets trying their best to dampen his mood these days, Weatherman is as tough as nails.  Praying for you buddy, can't wait to for us to all be hanging out again at our pre and post game meals.  We Are...WeathermanNYC's Team!!!

Prayers to you Weatherman.  Enjoyed meeting you just a few times at 114 and know you're one of the good guys.  Hang in, be strong and know there so many johnny fans pulling for you.

Prayers sent for a great recovery. Remember meeting him at a game as well.  Feel better soon!!!

I only had the privilege of meeting The Honorable Weatherman on one occasion and he struck me as the personification of a classic St. John’s fan.

I look forward to shaking his hand again at the NCAA Sweet 16 this season.

he Weatherman … be well.

Hey Weatherman...no one knows better than you that storms pass. We're there with you and praying for a sunnier days ahead. All the best wishes from north of the border.

Weatherman, you will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong and hope to see you at a Johnnie game in MSG this season!!

I'll light a candle for you at Mass tomorrow. Get well soon.

Spoke with John this afternoon. He had just gotten home from having a procedure done, so we didn't talk long. He's definitely feeling the positive vibes from all of us, and it's helping him maintain a positive attitude, as NYCRedmen previously mentioned. Let's all keep it up and help John beat this thing!

One memory that makes me smile is when I visited Sec 114 at halftime of a game a few years ago and got to take a picture with all of the guys.

Will definitely keep Weathermannyc in my Prayers.

Though I have never had the pleasure of meeting him I pray for his speedy recovery and good health.
A  very thoughtful post on the part of Mjmaher in wishing John all the best and in letting the board members know of John’s unfortunate predicament. His post and the numerous responses clearly demonstrate that we are a loving and a caring family , that truly have one another’s back.
g d bless John and every member of Redmen.com and their families.

John is a great guy, friend who I spoke with last week & simply conveyed my good wishes during this challenge. I will leave it at that respecting his privacy.

Though we’ve never met, want to wish John well.  Prayers and good vibes your way from one Redman  fanatic to another. God bless.

Thank you everyone for the love and support. We truly are a family here and I have many great friends who I have met through this site.  They represent the best that the human race has to offer and I am proud to have them as part of my life.

I'm a little embarrassed to be the center of attention and I know that many of you are or someone you love is dealing with serious health issues.  I will hope and pray that ALL of us do well and get to where we want to be.
