UVU wasn't terrible - the size and perimeter shooting were a good matchup for our team to get some work against, and they handled it pretty well.

The fundamental D remains terrible and was covered up by the turnovers.

Josh and Posh played perhaps their best games.

Cole just can't find it. Can't get a feel for when to shoot, pass, or drive.  Feet are too slow on D.  He absolutely can be a contributor at the BE level but right now he just has no feel for where he fits in.

Nice win!

Will be interesting to see if this improved our NET at all, given how many games we've squeaked by in. If we won this way against Rider and St. Peter's we'd be in a better position.

Definitely was worth scheduling this game.

But he was unstoppable in garbage time!

I thought Moore played his best game, too.  He was very active underneath.

We only commited 4 turnovers. Had a combined 20 blocks and steals. Learning to play our game with Posh and the team getting better feel for each other.

One of those 4 was on the first possession of the game, when Posh traveled.  So only 3 the last 39+ minutes.  I don't care who you're playing against, that's impressive.

Our team seems to be jelling a little more, which makes sense since half our roster is new this season. Really pleased with the development of Roberts and Moore. Happy to see Posh show more confidence in his ability to shoot from mid and long range. Champ continues to ball. His improvement has been amazing to watch.

Looking forward to the rest of the season. Hoping that the team can keep CMA's streak alive. GO JOHNNIES!!

Nice game for most of the team.  I thought the Duke was off his game, with 7 points and no rebounds.

With each passing game I keep thinking it's a good time to shortern the rotation, and spread the minutes to those who've really shown they deserved it this year. Greg being out seems to have given us a chance to do that more. When he's back, will be interesting to see whose minutes he eats into.

I take nothing from this game.  That team was awful.

Posh continued shooting the ball well so actually ill take that.

Big game on Wednesday.  With Marquette and providence losing today, its a chance for us to gain some ground in the big east.

Plenty of good things to say...but we must lead the nation in blown layups.

Note to coach.  Let prospective recruits run a layup line before signing them.

I thought the team really played well today and no way they didn't benefit from the game. Cole & Moore in particular benefited. Every game these guys play and hit some shots (which they are both very capable of doing) helps their confidence going forward.
Depaul game is a must and if team can pull out  Depaul & UCONN at home, 8-12 in conference is doable and would be a very good result in year 2.

I interupt the platitudes with the fact that we let a basically low to mid major team shoot 60% from the field but if college basketball has gone the way of college football you win with offense these days.
