Sometimes you have to make your own brakes.

This team just cannot handle prosperity.

This was just...a bad loss. Embarrassing, actually. These guys need to take a long look in the mirror if they can’t get themselves up for a Saturday in February at the Garden. Ridiculous.

Let's face it folks, this team is just not that great, despite your own expectations. As I said in another thread, we're one injury away from being in serious trouble. Well as you can see, we can't afford to lose our 2nd best player.

Most embarrassing game I’ve been too in s long time to have the last place teams fans chanting let’s go friars loudly in the garden is a joke! Way to show up today guys awful game can not lose like that if you hope to be a tourney team!

Plenty of blame to go around on this one.

-To not call one time out during the second half is an egregious mistake.

-I wish our center would call a players only meeting to discuss rebounding better. Check that, rebound at all.

-Dixon was a defensive liability but he was our offensive insurance. One of our 5 starters get hurt or foul trouble and our offense becomes so much easier to guard.

Need to rebound and win Tuesday. In the literal sense.

3rd best but yes can't afford to lose any of the 5.

That was a bad effort on offensive, defense and coaching. Not having Heron is no excuse for lack of effort. The only effort applied was by Roberts. No need for analysis. Lack of effort. Plus Simon can not play against this team as he has no outside shot.

Unless you are the Duke's or Kentucky's of the world, most teams can't afford to lose their best player.

To alexander salem.... It doesn't matter if we scored two points in the second half. We should've pressed right after that made basket. That should've been our game plan going into the second half.

[sup]Keita needs to sit...he brings NOTHING to the table. We have him 3 more years...oh my! I say Roberts is the new big man[/sup]

Forget Dixon. This team was supposed to have multiple offensive weapons. Got nothing today from Simon, Clark, Trimble, Keita. No passion or urgency in Ponds. Figgy gets a pass with foul trouble.

They only way to wash off the stench of this game is to win our 4 remaining home games. The Villanova game is a must win now. 5-2 a must. Team should be embarrassed. I can handle losing but this team sometimes just mails it in and that is totally unacceptable!

This team played like it has never seen a zone defense on offense, and like a fifth grade girls team rebounding the ball on defense.
Ill prepared. Ill motivated.
In another post, I mentioned that Mullin needs to go Bobby Knight on this team. Open up the gym at 2 am tomorrow morning. Run them to death. If they don’t want to expend effort during the game, maybe they will at practice.
And while we’re at it, the AD can gather Mullin and the staff in an office and explain how this lack of effort will not be tolerated!
