up by 1 at half and lose by 22 or whatever.

Not much more to say than that

Well you could say we played the second half like we were riding a camel in the middle of the desert with no water and no sense of direction. ;) :)

You’re not winning any game with LJ and Dunn playing like they did today. LJ plays best at CA. Dunn just seemed like he was checked out. Oh well. Was gonna be a tough one to pull out anyways. Champagnie kept us in it. But nobody could help out. On to Marquette at MSG.

Dunn must be hurt or sick. He played 25 minutes and didn't score a point in this game.

He's never been that ineffective before.

Champagnie had a great game. 6 rebounds and 23 points. But the rest of the team didn't contribute enough.
what was the story on Dunn?

didn't have TV coverage where i live?
Basically, Butler kind of suffocated him all night.

Will the real St. John’s team please stand up! And they did: Jekyl and Hyde. I have a suggestion for Dunn: if you decide you’re not going to even try, don’t suit up. Absolutely pathetic. If I were the coach, I’d bench the guy for the Marquette game.

I think dunn is real sick and tried to gut it out. He wasnt himself. Maybe the flu or something.

The flu. Uh, oh.

Nonsense! I began soloing on him in the second half. He’d bring the ball up past half court, pass the ball, and just ‘ozone out’.

C'mon man! Don't be so shallow on Dunn. This game showed his value on this team when he has the worst game of his career. Without leadership or bona fide scoring threats in the backcourt this team becomes very pedestrian. The biggest culprit is Figueroa who chose not to play in the flow with his team mates. Coach Anderson was obviously utterly frustrated with him to the point that he benched him long before the game was over. The bottom line is we had no player in the second half who was able to stand out offensively or set up the offense. Players like Caraher, Rutherford and Sears have no business playing on this level. When they get critical minutes it shows in games like this where they just can't compete against even marginally better players.

Well, I guess Dunn saw his NY lawyer.
:S

Seriously, I hope Dunn will be ok. He's been a bright spot on this team. It's scary to think he almost wasn't allowed to play this season.

This statement is correct. I listened to the postgame on the radio and it was the first thing said by Coach Cleveland that Dunn was sick. It was pretty obvious to anyone who has watched him that something was amiss. He never played like that at anytime this year. I am pretty sure he would not have played at all if it were not for the fact that the team was so shorthanded.
