Few things.

I couldn’t have been more wrong about this matchup. We dominated them. Theo John got abused.

Marillac has been right since last January that Simon is best post defender on team.

Gtown got robbed, they should be hosting a top 20 team this weekend.

Best team in the BE
 
Great bounce back win! When Clark is the 2nd or 3rd scoring option this team looks terrific, and this is the kind of statement that St. John’s needed to send the rest of the Big East. Great fan support too, nice to see.
 
Credit to Mullin for getting the team focused on this game and putting the Seton Hall Ref Job in the rear view mirror

Cant be stated enough how big this game was

Sorry but I like Shamorie the scorer who does assist his teammates better than Shamorie looking to be the facilitator and a secondary scoring option.
Great game by one of the greatest guards to ever play at SJU. A signature win over a top 20 team when it was desperately needed.

Still annoyed about that game. Can't shake it. Team did great job of shaking it off though

Yeah and he still didn't force it in 2nd half. Played great

And how about that Simon right-handed hook from the post?! He must be 95% for his career on those.

I'll give you props back for spotting Williams. This kid is growing on me so fast it's crazy. He's got a head on his shoulders that will take him past similar players.
 
Great win. Mullin’s calm demeanor really paid off. Seton Hall and Marquette 10-39 from 3. St. John’s 20-49. Let’s keep that going.
 
That was on offensive system that worked very well. The coaching staff saw a true example of the type of system they have been putting in place. The pieces are in place and now we have to bring it consistently, every game, every minute, every possession. Kieta helped and made the bench longer. Still needs to get in the flow.

Unlike the BE conference, this team just made its own statement. And it was assertive and decisive.
 
We should be 14-0 and ranked about #15. Doesn't matter though, this is a team we can all enjoy the hell out of in 2019. We won't play a regular season game this year, except the one at Duke, where we should feel like an underdog.
 
In the last 2 games the defence has been fantastic on the 2 best scorers in the BE not named Ponds. Got to give the staff credit for that.
