As my Grandma use to say... May you both live as long as you want and never want as long as you live. Many blessings and congrats.

Congrats--the Castle is really super spot with everything top of the line (and heavy on the wallet).  A bunch of us stayed there after my buddy's daughter's wedding and had a great "after party" in the bar there.

Did you check out the schedule before booking?

Oheka Castle great venue for a wedding. My sister had her wedding there but it was in September so she had the ceremony outside and came in in a horse drawn carriage. Had my first date with my wife at this event.
Wow your sisters wedding must have been awesome with that carriage and nice way to woo your wife on a first date :)
Thank you and it was the only way I could get her to go out with me so I have my sister to thank. Sent a limo to pick her up. Was supposed to be a one and done date. LOL
Limo too ? You do things in style !
When it's time to get rid of her, send for a limo..

Congratulations and best wishes to both of you. Great venue. Once played golf there, and don't live too far from it.
Thx ! Where so you live ?

Congrats, MJ and Nathalie!

We’ve never met but I feel like I know you with all these Stories. My favorite was chatting on this site while you were stuck on the LIRR during a snowstorm missing the Georgetown game if I remember correctly. LOL. I did my 30 years from Wantagh and I finally had enough. Your tales from the LIRR that night still makes me laugh.

Yeah we checked out for bookings. Since we are having small wedding because of covid the only room they have an event in is the library room and that is just 6-9 so for pics we can go there before or after. I'm booking a room for the wedding then the entire bar and restaurant and we are supposed to have access to the entire castle for pictures although the contract is vague on that and we were told specifically we would so driving there in half hour to sort it out before I pay

Haaaaaaa  omg that was a bad night but funny  :) lolololol

Wow, great things happened to you on that trip in 2012. You got engaged . . . and you met me for the first time! /media/kunena/emoticons/grin.png

If you haven't met Mike before, I highly recommend it. He really is a great guy and the same exact guy he is on the board. But I guess that's a bad thing if you think he's a horrible poster.

Congrats to you both, and you picked an awesome spot. My cousin got married there years ago, and it's still the nicest wedding I've ever attended.

Mike, I'll tell you the same thing I told my son-in-law the day he married our daughter. You still have a chance, run now. He should have listened, the women in our family are nuts.

Seriously though, congratulations!

Congratulations, Mike. I hope you and your lovely wife have many wonderful and happy years together. Always be there for her and  don't forget that no matter what, she's the most important person in your life.
Oheka is a great place. Ask them to give you the tour and make sure that they show you the cigar room.

See now while I totally appreciate all the nice posts and I feel beyond grateful for the kind words I really appreciate your very kind words and our friendship means a lot to me. We met on the west coast and east coast. I'm a very flawed person but I am who I am and either people will like me or not but as you know I'm pretty much the same person here as I am on the boards the only difference is sometimes I'm moodier but NEVER in person  but I just don't post because sometimes if I don't want to bring the board down. Keep things up and just treat people the way you would want to be treated

I said it like yesterday but LJSA is such an awesome dude I'd love to meantion even just all my friends I've met in person ( you all know who you are ) but so many other of you guys I want to meet ( bamafan like 10 years ago I saw you walk quickly out of the train near carusos pizza I actually yelled to you but you didn't hear )

Anyway like I kind of mentioned before so many of you guys are close friends of mine real close but the rest of you I think so highly of you you just wont understand. Example. I go with my 114 buddies to a st johns baseball game. We meet Andrew. What a day ! That's what this site is all about he is welcome in 114 any day he is such a good dude
