I asked Santa for a win and he delivered. Posh,Julian, Greg, Vince, and Isaih were Santa's little helpers in this game.

The whole team played really well and deserve a few days off with their families.

It's fun seeing the Johnnie's play well.

Going to bed happy tonight! Greg, Posh, Moore, Champ & Cole were all good tonight and some nice minutes from Toro.
I like this team and expect steady improvement as they get to know each other better. Not expecting miracles but do think they can win against Depaul & Butler and pull a few surprises especially towards the end of the year.

Looks like they have 12 days off. They can still add 1 non-conference game, hoping the coaching staff considers doing this and getting a tune up game before being off 12 days going into another conference game.

Greg: 26pnts, 2blcks 4/6 from 3
Julian: 20pnts, 9boards, 4dimes, 2stls, 2blcks. 4/8 from 3.
Vince: 17pnts, 5boards, 3dimes, 1blck

Good to get that win, now to see your family over the break and enjoy being with family.
Come back and play DePaul at home, a very winnable game, and you go from 0-3 to 2-3. Gain confidence and with confidence you start believing yourself.

I think we all know Julian can and will be a star.
However, when guys like Williams and Cole step up like they did tonight we become a good three headed monster. Add in solid contributions from Moore, Duke, Dunn, Toro, Posh you have the makings of what can be a very solid team.
Nice fun win. Learn from it and continue to build.

The kids had confidence tonight. They need to keep that up.

Also we dropped the pressing defense and not many double teams and what do you know, gtown did not get wide open 3s all night.

I think coach realized 40 minutes of heaven wasnt working.

Happy for the solid effort and win. Also, happy to silence the pervasive negativity on this board. Let these guys have time to develop, please.

Greg played like an upperclassman tonight thats been through the wars. We need that leadership consistently from him.

I agree, it would be nice. 12 days is to long of a layoff.

Best game we’ve played all season. Let’s hope Williams , Cole and Moore continue to play as they did tonight. Let’s build on this and move forward.

If you recall, that is how we turned the game around in the BE tournament..

There's a lot of potential for a great team towards the end of the season. There's a lot of tough basketball games ahead. The Johnnie's need that experience.
