I can write a lot of things about Posh, about his leadership, his end-to-end hustle, and sacrificing his own natural position for (what was thought to be) the good of the team.

But instead, I'll just post a photo that sums it all up.

Good luck kid. I'll be rooting for you.

How do we know about his leadership? This years team looked like a rudderless ship

In an age of players transferring at the drop of a hat, a BE rookie of the year and defensive player of the year allowed an incoming player to take his position because he was told it would make the team better.

If that's not leadership, I don't know what is.

Posh was my favorite player by far during these mediocre seasons. I wish he stayed, but we have been mediocre for over 20 years. It is time to do things how National Champions do things and Coach Pitino knows how to do that.

Sadly, college basketball is a big business and not the game some of us knew 30/40 years ago. The school seems to finally understand this and have decided to enter the 21st century. I am OK with that even if it means some sad news like this.

Good luck Posh. You were a true Redmen and we appreciate your all-hustle style of play. I hope you succeed wherever you go.

That’s sacrifice not really leadership. Leadership would have been taking control of the team and even if players didn’t believe in Anderson having everyone listening and in same page during timeouts during games.

It’s a Posh appreciation thread, Can you deal with that?

You have other threads you can express your thoughts on him.

As per Zach B: Like AJ Storr, Posh was given an opportunity to return. Decided it wasn't for him
Posh wanted to come back but he didn't feel that the new staff wanted him back

Not considering him a true leader is not a criticism. How many true leaders are there out there. A well named college football team one year was said to have lacked leadership from its players and there are 85 players on the team. Besides I said how do we know not that he wasn’t one. I like Posh and wasn’t trying to be critical.

Was that Urban Meyer you were referring to?

Love Posh and Wusu and will be rooting for them hard wherever they land.
Remember when Wusu was considered to be a ‘player we had to take’ to get Posh to come? Posh and Wusu were fun to root for. They bleed St. John’s red. I hope they find good landing spots and get a chance to play on the NCAAs.

I know I say this about everyone who starts in the BE, but it is true. They will be able to make money playing basketball somewhere.
