Just wanted to point out, that in the face of the number one team in the country, when no one else on his team scored in double figures, Mr. Ponds scored almost 40 points. If the Big East gives out MVP awards, this young man deserves it, hands down!

Ponds played a nice offensive game against Villanova, but he’s shooting under 20 percent from downtown and is not a great defender. He will not he first team all big east let alone NCAA player of the year.

Next year will hopefully be Shamorie's year. They don't give MVP awards to players on teams that don't win games.

All hats off to Shamorie for last night's performance. Phenomenal night from 2-point land, 15-22. He should try 2-3 3-pointers / game, and otherwise focus on his great penetrating & driving moves, with soft jumpers around the key, feeding off to guys set free.
