Greg Gard (wisc) Bo Ryan talks highly of him, and he can teach alot
Dwayne Stephens Mich St.) very good assistant and also a master recruiter.

Dont think they have a NY connection but just throwing these names out there and see what people on here say about them.

Atleast Gard knows the game and can teach it, unlike Norm and Lavin (I liked his smirk at the end of the second OT by the way, that showed he really gave a damn). Wonder if the ones who donated their money to pay this guys salary really appreciated that smirk.
 
I love the idea of bringing PJ in at the end of this year. I believe he would have a good run with these seniors and, with his NBA experience, would be attractive to recruits. If he is here and does well for 3 or 4 years, it would really help the program.

Stephens and Gard are interesting names. They're not necessarily east coast recruiters, but I'm not sure that would matter. Good options

6 years in the best conference in America...remember we were good back then, so was gtown, cuse, villanova, took the hall to the title game, again who that took a team to the title game would be interested in coming here not named PJ?
