Pitino to get his walking papers today

College basketball has become a virtual cesspool and this entire process needs a cleanse. It would be like having a "colonic" This was long overdue, and I feel positive that the FBI is spearheading the investigation, not the NCAA!

I think he meant that Pitino to SJU would never happen, not that Pitino won't be fired which he will. I also agree with the sentiment that anyone involved in this will be out of college basketball permanently. This is an entirely different scenario than anything that has gone before. This isn't the NCAA sham investigation in collusion with power schools and big money. This is an FBI big media case. The guys at the FBI running this are looking to make their careers on it (see the media event, facebook streaming, press releases and flow charts). Hopefully the end goal is to get at the rotten core which is the NCAA itself.

Can confirm Louisville AD Tom Jurich has been relieved of his duties at the school.
 
Interim Louisville president Greg Postel says there will be a press conference at 1. Pitino, Jurich won't be there, he says.
