ESPN: Phil Greene Hopes Workouts Translate to NBA Chance
"Greene, the former St. John’s standout who worked out for the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday, said he squared off with Mullin, who was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011, in a 2-on-2 pickup game recently. He can still shoot it, Greene joked when asked about Mullin’s old-man game. He really liked to backdoor pass a lot … but it worked.”
"Brooklyn Nets director of player personnel Gregg Polinsky said, think Phil had a good career at St. John’s, and I think he’s gonna have a shot (at playing in the NBA).”
