Peter Kiss

Nice article about a high character underrated kid with a load of talent. Would be nice if a few more of them would show up on our door step.

Did we read the same article? High character??

Grasso has done a great job at Bryant, but allowing your player to act like that.....

His celebrations on the court might not be for everyone- particularly our older generation... And i agree some of his antics might go over the top- but what i read- was an extremely high character kid who donates his free time to helping those with disabilities.

Would you rather he not celebrate on the court- but be a d*ck off it? In my book- his involvement in the community speaks volumes to his character.

A conflicting story. His work with the Special Olympics is admirable and he is probably not a bad kid but he seems to be carrying a lot of emotional baggage that he would be best served getting addressed. There is a big difference between being a warrior on the court and being an instigator and bully. It took him six years and three schools to find this success at the lowest level of D1. He has talent that he showed as a Freshman at Quinnipiac but this behavior is not something that should be tolerated by his coach. If that’s what it takes to win as a coach, I would pass on Grasso. I hope he gets the help he needs but I certainly won’t be pulling for him. If he survives the play in game, I don’t see Arizona taking well to his antics.

I guess you take the good with the bad.  But his 7 year college career is now over so it'll be interesting to see how his antics play in the Macedonian league.  ;)

If you can cause a riot in the stands at Bryant, you sure can do it in Macedonia. Godspeed Kiss.

I was thinking the same thing.

My daughter just texted me and said "Dad, this kid I know is the leading scorer in college basketball". I responded with "who, Peter Kiss?". To which she replied "how do you know him?????" lol. Apparently he spent time at Loyola High School with my daughter before transferring out in his sophomore year. Then she said "we're friends on Instagram and I see his posts, but never knew he was a big deal. Guess he is". I said "yeah, he is".

Loyola on UES?  Kiss' bio says he "began his scholastic career at Monsignor Scanlan High School in The Bronx," an upgrade athletically for sure from Loyola.

At this point it's more like, he was, but still fun story.

Yeah, but not academically.

Saw a special on him and believe he works with Down Syndrome kids.

I read the article went from not liking him to liking him because anyone that works with kids that can use help is okay in my book.

But I watched the Bryant Wagner Fiasco on tv and he was a large part of what riled their fans up to stop the game for 30 minutes, 30 minutes. and when they re-started with like 3 minutes to go up by 40 he continued his antics, so it is hard to like him.
