Panther, Otis and Monte

Gotta subtract points from Monte for the diner salad. Otis and Panther with strong orders.
Not proud of the fact that I'm eating a salad at one of the best comfort food joints around, but I need to watch my figure for professional purposes. LOL
Will hopefully bump into you Saturday Mark, with new svelte look, how will I recognize you? :)
In an odd twist of fate, I got called to do a short film Saturday afternoon(in to the evening) in Newark of all places. So looks like I'm going to miss the game. Believe me its killing me, but this is a filmmaker that I've worked with before and who I hope to work with again, so I've got to do it. Let me know when you're in the city again. Miss our periodic lunches.

I guess everyone else was afraid to broach the subject, but it looks like OTIS should have been the one eating a salad. Looks like he has been packing on the pounds since I saw him last.

Will do buddy & continued good fortune with new career.

I was at the Villanova game and wandered over to sec. 114. I did not see any familiar faces so I left. I have tix in sec. 118 for SH and will give it another shot. Hope to make the connection.

Usually 5 minutes into halftime we are getting back to our seats. Second and third to last row dead center

For the SH game I'll be in sec. 118, row 20, seat 4. I'll come for a visit at the half.
Mike, do you enter with a banner, band and girls dropping flowers? :)

_______

please post a group photo after the StJohn's win over SH.

All of the above comments are what makes this tolerable after all the fighting. Thanks guys.

no fighting, let's get Beast back by limiting the fighting, the real deal is we all want SJU to win.

almost all of my close personal friends did not attend SJU, but through me they have become fans, let's get them talking again about how great the Johnnies are by beating Providence, and allowing Panther, Otis and Monte to enjoy the moment.

One of the most wonderful things about this incredible site that Paul has created and maintains, is that is has afforded me the opportunity to make friends with some of finest people in the world. I have been long distance friends with Chicago Days for quite some time now. Yesterday I finally had the chance to meet him. Trust me when I say this, a bigger St. John’s fan and a better man does not exist. Bob it was truly an honor to meet you and to spend some time with you. Even if it was far to short. Looking forward to staying in touch and to meeting up again in the near future. Safe travels my friend.

Same here Monte!
Was fabulous to meet you, finally!
And you look like a young, chic, Al Pacino, complete with a great acting voice!
Why in hell do I have a glass eye in this pic?!!?
Must've been the 2nd glass of vino...
All the best to you Monte, and it was great to meet the 114 gang!
Next time, it'll be a happier outcome...i know it.

Don’t encourage him. He needs to be eating steak and ale game days to send a message of toughness to our team.
