Pace Exhibition

Even though it's a scrimmage and I'm not concerned given starters are out, losing this would create some really bad headlines. Even the bottom half of our roster should have no trouble handling a D2 school.

Still expect St. John's to win, but time is running out.

Ledlum's been horrible. Coach is taking everyone out but him. Almost like he's trying to get him to work it out.

I'm usually for that, but there's a limit. It looks like it's snowballing on him.

9-14 0n our roster should wipe the floor with a D2 team.
I think so as well, but I have a hunch the game is being treated differently by Pitino. Syracuse would occasionally lose to an inferior opponent in an exhibition game and go in to have a solid season.

I'm not able to see the game but sense there's a method to the madness.

Not saying anything about the score because it's exhibition but goota ask one thing.

What's up with Ledlum? He avg 18 at harvard last year, but only 3pnts in 22 minutes?
11 pnts in 33 minutes vs. RU and that was double OT.

Is it him being injured and started practicing late?

We may go on to have a decent year but, respectfully, I don’t think being down by double digits to Pace is part of some master plan.

Media timeout, Pace 54-42, 11:44 2nd
Ledlum 1-10 from the field.
Zuby 0-4 from field, 0-4 from the line.

My advice is relax, 3 starters out and Taylor has played 7 minutes. Rutgers game meant nothing, this game even less than that. Yes, we all want the team to play well, regardless who is on the floor but to project off these games is a waste of time IMO.

It's way to early to pass judgement on any of these kids, but once again it goes to show that absolutely no one, no matter how smart they think they are, knows how a kid will do when he moves up a level(or more).
