Triborough Film Festival and Astoria Filmmakers Club awarded Best Director to our own Monte for his short film Bound By Bushwick. The film's cinematographer Xiaofen Zhang also won for Best Cinematography. Only the latest accolade for Mark and the film.

I got you by just a few years DK lol. Class of 76'. Not sure if you knew this, but for many years after the new gym was opened, that old gym served as a study hall. We called it The Resource Center. The hoops/backboards had been removed, and it was carpeted and had desks/cubicles for students to study.

Don't think that there are any film festivals coming up in eastern NC. I can't do it just yet, but at some point down the road I'll share the link with everyone. I can't do that until the film festival circuit it completed.
