Official 2013-2014 Schedule Thread

Georgetown is on PResidents day weekend, most have off on Monday.

Nova at 7pm on a Saturday night is nice.

Butler tuesday night 9pm will be rough.

But late in day weekend games are nice.

One thing I notice is that our sunday games are at night a lot this year. Last year we had tons of noon games for sunday games. That is a good change.
Ughh. You must be younger :)

I hate the idea of 7pm games on sundays. Monday work days are going to be rough

Damn I'm getting old

Only 2 of them, and Georgetown in February 16, the night before Presidents' Day, so most people will be off the next day.

Going to city early on the weekends and going out for a beer after the game and going home early was so much easier

Damn I'm getting old

The 9 pm weeknight games are the killer for me. At 9 PM I don't want to be doing anything.

12/31 @xavier
1/4 @gtown
1/11 Nova
1/14 @depaul
1/16 Prov
1/23 Hall
1/25 @butler
1/28 @creighton
2/1 Marquette

2/4 @prov
2/9 Creighton
2/13 @hall
2/16 Gtown
2/18 Butler
2/22 @nova
2/25 Xavier
3/2 DePaul
3/8 @marquette

Losing our opener at Xavier would put us in a tough spot with gtown and nova up next. Quick glance and I'm going with 12-6 but think will have a slip up and go 11-7.

I don't know about you guys, but even if it's less of a conference, but knowing it's big east, and we will be playing many of our long time Catholic school rivals is still comforting to me, even if so many teams are gone.

I never considered Notre Dame, Louisville, WVU, Va Tech, Miami, etc REAL Big East teams, and didn't miss the ones that departed earlier.

I'll miss UCONN and Syracuse, but looking at this schedule, it's going to be a fun conference with many familiar opponents, and I think we will all have a blast.

Ahh didnt notice the presidents day one so that is good.

Would still rather have afternoon games but at least it's only 1 monday I'm going to have to drag to work

9pm queens games = automatic me giving my ticket away and watching the game from home. Garden game I would go to but no way to carnesseca

Then, you're in luck. Butler at MSG is only 9 pm home game (at least in conference).

Any game at Carnesecca aren't bad for me. I can get home in 12-18 minutes by car. At MSG I have to time my exit with a LIRR train, and if it goes down to the wire, can wait almost an hour at Penn.

Yikes. 9-9 in conference? 4 losses out of conference?

I'd be real disappointed if either of those happened, let alone both.

9-9 would put us about 5th place, higher than any preseason publication has picked us.

Way to much talent on this team to go .500 in this league IMO

18-13.

24-7, nationally ranked, round of 32. If not.......Lavin will be on the hot seat.

The Butler game on Saturday, January 25 at Hinkle Field House will be great fun.

Very much like the idea of playing everyone in the conference twice.

Road trips to Philadelphia and D.C. are a given.

Not a big fan of 9pm games but can't miss Seton Hall at The Rock or Butler at CA.

May entertain the thought of going to The Bradley Center to see Marquette in March.

Like the WCC, so am personally looking forward to the game at CA vs. USF in December.

Would hope every St. John's fan would take it upon him/her self and get a group of friends together and purchase a "sizeable" amount of tickets for The Syracuse game.

No reason we should be the "visiting" team on December 15 at MSG.

A 7PM game on a Sunday is not perfect, but I can suck it up for our clash vs. Creighton.

My thoughts exactly on the Syracuse game. Believe me, they have that game penciled in and are just waiting for them to go on sale.
