NY Rangers Playoffs

I was supposed to go to the game but tickets fell thru yesterday.
What a game. I was freaking out because they couldn't score a damn goal. What an ending.
Wont mean much unless we win sunday.
A game 7 would be awesome. Wish I wasn't going to be in houston next week because that game will be a lot of fun
Very cool with the game 7 tix. I have a dinner meeting on tuesday at 6pm houston time which I think is 8pm here. If we get to game 7 I have to see if I can get out of it somehow especially since it's as a place I don't even want to eat dinner at

I was fuming last night just wondering if anyone had any pair of balls to score a goal to tie the damn game up, if not they'd go home getting 1 goal in last 9 periods. Then Chris Krieder came through thank goal. Sunday they need to rush the net, Holtby is feeling way to comfortably stopping those outside shots. I also liked when Krieder crashed into Holtby and sent him on his ass, just to let him know do not get to comfortable in net because you can be sent on your ass.
To me and alot of other Ranger fans it's Stanley Cup or bust. Win Sunday night and I'm feeling real good for game 7 at MSG on Wednesday.
Playoff hockey is the best, I love the intensity. Even a 0-0 game is great with the back and forth action and the hitting in the games. Gotta bring it home.

Negative, it was not cup or bust last year, even though this year with all the talk about winning it all to me to wasn't cup or bust.
What made it cup or bust this year was when at the trade deadline, they got all-star defenseman Keith Yandle, after that trade we became so keep that if we didn't win it, it would be a huge disappointment. I think we're the deepest team in the league.
On a side note: There are rumors that Zuccarello's concussion could be career ending, that would freaking suck.
Buddy of mine ran into Zucs on the street before the game yesterday and said he was in good spirits. I really hope that is not the case. Way too young. But I was at the game when he took the puck to the face, it made me squirmish seeing it live, I am not sure how the hell he got off the ice on his own like that, tough tough kid.

Yeah he got 42 in the regular season, but has a goose egg in the playoffs.

THERE WILL BE A GAME 7 HELL YEAH.
We're taking game 7, believe that one. Lundqvust in game 7's at MSG has always been a brick wall.
Only thing is I wish it was on Tuesday and not Wednesday.

Oh I'll catch the game, there's no damn way that I'm not watching it. The reason why I don't like the extra day rest is because we got the momentum and we finally showed that Holtby is beatable. Just want to keep it going.
I hate that pos Ovechkin, see him jump on the back of McDonagh and try to take him out?
I know you can't try and take out Ovechkin and maybe get a double minor or a 5-minute major. Nothing to cost us in game 7.
But next year go headhunting on Ovechkin. Hey, if he wants to be dirty and try to take out our captain, then screw it lets be dirty and take him out.
Oh, and why no penalty on Ovechkin? Maybe we need to police ourselves like the good old days of bench clearing brawls.
Lastly, I don't know how hockey players keep their cool, I'd snap and do to Ovechkin what McSorley did to a player after the player hit him. Skate after him and hit him in the head like a baseball bat, then iI'd be trown out of the league like he was even though he tried to hurt me.
I'd rather play sooner. Plus I had already gotten out of my business dinner in case they won.
Now this is going to screw up my plans on going to minute maid park to see the astros play on wed. Maybe they have club seats or something that I can get and catch part of the game there instead of regular seats

Forget rest. Rangers had a week after after the Pittsburgh series, the capitals went to 7 games vs. the Islanders. Back to back 7 game series you know they have heavy legs.
These playoffs are taking 10 years off my life. I'm on pins and needles from start to finish, Talk about a game of inches. This is a game of microinches.
