 This game better be on TV! I'm snowed in and won't be making to down to the Garden today. :angry: :(

Snowed in?? There is an inch of snow on the ground in Manhattan right now! Syracuse gets 25,000 fans to the Carrier Dome with 16 inches of snow! Get those snow shoes out, get on the railroad and get your arse to the Garden!! I am taking attendance today and if you are not there you will get detention, have to say 200 Hail Mary's and 50 Our Fathers .....oh, and if you don't start using our correct nickname you will also have to get a buzz cut!!!
 
I'm stuck in PA today as well and had to cancel my wekend in the city for the game. Both teams matchup well in terms of size and whenever that seems to happen I think Gift plays well. I'm really split on this one but I think Nova may win. This team has definitely hit a wall and I hope they burst through it soon.

I'm also stuck in Podunk Pa. Somehow this team just doesn't inspire me to shovel and drive 2 1/2 hrs then jump on the LIRR. I must be getting old or they're too young to have gotten in my psyche. Besides Lavin lives a half hour away and he probably won't make it either. Hey, if he can go recruiting he can grab a seat somewhere in the house. Hopefully better luck next year. I'd love to beat Nova but this year it's no big deal really. Never thought I'd say that but the losses are piling up on me. The team too I believe.

 Greene had a better game @ USF. He had a nice short jumper. He shouldt take more of those and minimize his 3 pt shot.
 
Really hope somebody spoke to the team and they come out fired up and aggressive. Not too concerned if we win or not.

But confidence and improvement in our offensive sets is what I'm looking for.

Confidence will come when we win games. So winning this game is important.
 
it is extremely hard to fill up the stands with fans with a team that can't shoot. watching Rutgers (two great shooters) right now and seeing what Seton Hall has done is there anyone who thinks we are not the worst of all the metro teams? Being third fiddle to both of them is disturbing for now and the future. A defeat of Villanova would be a tremendous boost. Go johnnies!!

There were two teams with losing records at MSG today. There were close to 12,000 fans on a miserable day.
Both SH and RU have better guards and some upperclassmen.

Close to half of those 12,000 appeared to be Nova fans, who proved to be as quiet as SJU fans.
