 Fantastic. Big part of the puzzle. I think he'll love it here. Time to get to work Norvel!
 
Norvel will be a big key to our success this season. I don't expect to see great stats out of him but rather the fact that teams know we finally have a shot blocker on the court will be a big plus in our favor. I expect him to be a beast in 2 years.

the mystery question that no one seems to be able to answer is.. has this young man been cleared yet..?

Remembering what happened to Michael Glover (assuming I'm remembering it correctly), I don't believe the staff would allow Norvel to formally enroll and attend classes if he hadn't been cleared. (Which raises the question: Is he attending classes?)

I would agree but there are also a lot of variables that come into play once the kid starts class. Once he begins the school has a window of time to make sure he is eligible and even then if he doesn't get cleared there is an appeal process.

The risk comes if he is ultimately denied academic eligibility. If that happens he is lost to the program forever because the Big East will not let you compete if you do not qualify.
 
 FWIW, we are still waiting on Pelle, Garrett and Jakarr. Nuri was cleared yesterday. From what I am told, Amir and Jakarr are expected to be ok. Pelle is the concern.
