NO WAY TO CALHOUN

I can't believe that anyone who is a real fan of this program would ever consider mentioning this guy as a possible future coach for this team, let alone outright advocate for him to be.
No way St. John's ever goes in that direction.
If it does, I am one fan who won't be a fan anymore.

As much as it hurts, I think we need a big time coach with the ability to turn a program around, FAST.

You probably didn't like him when he was the BU coach, now ain't that right. ;)

If they could get calhoun you get him without giving it any thought. He'll fix this broken program and groom one of his assistants to take over. Of course it won't happen and we'll continue to be a trainwreck

LOL, all those small Boston Schools look alike

We dream about making the field of 68, this guy has won it all 3 times in a 12 year span. That's 3 more than Lou Carnesecca ever won. I'd take him in a heartbeat.

Kind of like marrying a porn star. It has its upside!

Jim Calhoun ... porn star ... hmm, don't believe I've ever seen that simile ever before. Kinda creepy.

Yeah, you're right. Why would we want an all-time great coach?

Dennis Wolff is probably willing to listen. Or Jim Barron. Maybe Tim Welsh. Actually, I think I want Norm back. He's supposedly a nice guy and he must have learned something new this time around as an assistant, right?

And don't forget his time in the TV booth. I hear that does wonders for improving one's coaching skills.

Do you want me to dig up some articles to prove why we don't want him? It's been highly publicized.

Even with all of the allegations and NCAA run ins he won 3 titles and left the program in decent enough shape for them to return to the Final 4 just a few years after he left, with their key player being a Calhoun recruit. Will never happen but anyone who doesn't want him is a lunatic.

Go ahead. I'm sure I could dig up pics of his three national titles that will make me not care one bit about any info you provide.

They are both large schools(top 100 in enrollment)

You guys are nuts. If he could win 1 national title for SJU in the next five years we all
make that deal with the devil.

I'm ready for that deal, and I'll throw in my wife's soul as well.
