OK, I know no one really cares right now, but we do begin things for real tomorrow night. JJ is reporting that 2 of NJIT's top 3 players are out with injuries, so that should more then offset the losses of Thomas and De La Rosa (for one night, at least).

So, who's going? I'll be there, in section 3, row ff, as always.

The Briscoes hopefully. :)
 
Knowing sju and their bad luck, I bet we get Briscoe and then lose this game which would effectively end our chances for anything this season.
 
For a basketball team with no conference affiliation (NJIT), they did a nice job with their schedule. Impressed to see Michigan, Marquette and Nova on their Dec schedule.

I believe they are the only D1 independent. Those early season games you mentioned (us included) probably funds their entire athletic department for a year.

Would you sit him if he was 50%?

Maybe give team a chance to learn to play without obekpa against a weaker opponent.

So they aren't necessarily shell shocked when he gets into foul trouble this year

I know we are all disappointed by the news of the day, but these kids, on this year's team, deserve our 100% support.

So, try to make it out to CA, if you can.

I'm not a pom pom guy...but these guys should get a standing ovation at the beginning and end of every game, no matter the outcome.

This game could be the difference between Obekpa leading the nation in blocks or coming in second. He'll have a ton of them if he plays.
 
I will be there. Hoping for some Pointer dunks. May not see a player that can make showtime dunks for a while.
 
Forgive me for my ignorance... but is FSN, fox sports net, or fox sports news or fox sports north? I can't seem to find the game on my tv. Wanted to set up the DVR. Maybe it's just on the Internet? Thanks
