suddenly I am very afraid of this game. Especially after getting blown out to Incarnate Word.

While we have not done a good job recovering from falling behind in games (Rutgers being the exception - Indiana somewhat, as well), we have done well bouncing back from the beatings we have taken. I know that's not much to go on, but we need to do it again.

So far, there has been no game-to-game momentum whatsoever for this team, both positive and negative.

It is a good thing for us fans, that we don't have to sit on tonight's game for very long.
 
As another poster mentioned, I think our guys might have read too much into all the accolades after the 'Cuse game. Would not be surprised if we get our mojo back against NJIT. Our coaching staff will surely make adjustments?

Under Lavin our three pt defense was often abysmal but here we are, new coaches, new players and we give up 11 three's on our home court. It was like they had an extra man at times. Derail Green, who lit us up for 5 threes tonight, had exactly 4 three's in his previous eight games. Go figure...

NJIT just lost to Columbia and needed OT to beat St. Francis. They like to hoist 3's but shooting % is about the same as ours. Lightning can't strike twice, can it?

No returnees of consequence + freshmen + no point guard + no elite transfers = tough season. Enjoy an upset along the way guys & frosh improvement. Next year will be much better.
 
Didn't get good vibes going into the Incarcerate Word game.

Feeling much better that we take care of business today against Stevens.
 
We will win today and surprise a lot of teams in the Big East. This team is very good when it has the momentum, They are freshmen now and at the end of year a seasoned team.
Coach Mullin and his talented staff will figure out their chemistry and away will go
 
Let's hope so. Figuring it's our inexperience and absence of a true PG that is the crux of our inconsistent play.
 
So we finally score and Mvouika 673 feet off his man for an easy 3. Just terrible
