Atlanta definitely a loss. But I just read Beast Mode was 1-5 from the 1 yard line that season, so that likely influenced that play call.

Falcons deserved to lose.
Completely idiotic decision calling for the pass play on 2nd down late in the game. Run, run, run FG. 10 pt lead. Game over.

Instead, the bone-headed pass play calls leads to biggest choke of all time in the Superbowl.

Totally agree, FG puts them up 11 and basically clinches the game. Francessa (who I know can be a blowhard) called Atlanta's play calling criminal and the Falcons were given a 99.5% chance of winning the game up 28-3 late third quarter (just to illustrate the odds of against a comeback). No way a team overcomes that deficit at that point in the game without a lot of help from the other team. Big time joke job by Ryan and the coaching staff. Julio Jones' catch should have clinched the game. All that said tons of credit to Brady and Belichek for orchestrating the comeback.
