Newsday Article - LI's Must East Lobster Rolls

Just came back from the food and wine festival at Epcot. Again disappointed with the lobster roll. The lobster looks like they grind it up. I talked with the guy making it and he told me that's the way it comes. Tons of good food (I could give recommendations if anyone is going) but this isn't one of them.
As I am standing there, along comes a 7 footer. My son is left speechless. Brook Lopez. He was kind enough to take a few pics with my son. I brought up SJU.. He brings up Mullin and how we are in good hands. I am going with his confidence for this year

So I took my niece, who went to Johnson and Wales, and she pictured everything I liked. Granted she actually threw up my favorite dish, spicy hot dog with kimchi, I believe she caught most of what we ate. I am not a dessert guy and she is baker so we have a mixed bag. If you want, I can send those over to you. Sorry I believe this as a must have... if you do the food and wine festival at Epcot, start from the right and go around. The Spicy Hot Dog, which is a must, is about three quarters around the circle and the Mexico area has a fabulous bathroom in the pyramid. Believe me, you will thank me for it

This is not apropos of the Topic: Lobster Rolls (I don't eat lobster :-( )
Apropos of good New England Seafood however (I do eat shrimp and clams) does anyone know Bigelow's in Rockville Center. It's been there forever and they have great NE Style fried seafood, especially Fried Clams, Fried Shrimp and Fish and Chips. Solid hand cut FF.
What makes this place is that they have a great (secret) coating for the fried stuff; and they use excellent frying oils, replacing the oil often.
Been there since the 30's and I do not think it's been updated. You sit around a counter, no tables, tiny place, wait your turn if it is crowded, no one lingers. Best beer they have is a Harpoon IPA, nice and cold, it's good.
Over 50 years ago my father-in-law tried to pry out of the old owner the recipe for the flour coating, and the owner looked at my father-in-law like he was crazy; he wasn't giving that up. The former owner (when my wife and I started going there in the late 70's) was very taciturn but he turned out great fried seafood so you'd keep coming back and eating those Ipswich claims.
It's on Long Beach Road right off Sunrise. We come all the way out from Jersey as often as we can.
