Happy to report Kira gave birth to a happy healthy baby boy last night that we named Harrison. He is already a disappointed SJU fan since he came out during the second half of last nights game. Maybe I should let Kira raise him a Duke or ND fan. The more important debate is if he will be raised a Mets (me) or Yankees(Kira) fan. Unfortunately for him we are both Bills fans. The real debate is what English football team he will support. I still haven’t sworn loyalty to any side. He was born in the borough of Chelsea, so maybe they win out.

We were told he has big hands and feet. Coupled with Kira 6’7” Uncle, maybe we have a basketball player on our hands. Perhaps baby Room112 and he can form a future SJu backcourt, although it’s more like Harrison will appear on a college lacrosse field.

Maybe the Johnnies should start recruiting him now

Does your son qualify for dual citizenship ?
 
Anonymous caller called London police and reported Gman for child abuse at the thought of having him root SJU and the mets and Bills.

Not outright. It’s not a birthright country. Our visas have the option for residence after 5 years. If we become residents then he can get his citizenship. The value of a U.K. citizenship goes way down post Brexit.
 
Enjoy. You will find the pain of SJU and Mets frustration lessened as you watch with Harrison. That said he has no choice and must follow his father's loyalties.
 
Congratulations. I thought you were going to call him Lapchick. Hope all is well with you, mom and the new addition.

Congrats! Baby Room112 is already disgruntled with St John's and leaving his options open for college :)
 
Congratulations! One of my greatest joys as a dad was sharing my love of SJU bball with each of my children. They all attended colleges elsewhere but still root like heck for SJU.

Since you named him Harrison, he has no choice. Clearly future sons will be named Mullin and Ponds.

Thanks everyone! I got an excellent 3.5 hours of sleep last night! Well worth it.

Gonzolo - We will likely get him to Spain. He was to 4 countries in utero. We have Italy planned in June and will likely go somewhere in either for either the early or late May bank holiday's.
