At least stand by your posts instead of trying to walk it back; “I have not declared Baty better than average. Right now he has shown flashes but he has a lot to prove.”

Just looking ahead I see Pittsburgh vs Cincinnati is Skenes vs Greene. That is one hell of a pitching matchup tomorrow.

Time is a flat circle Skenes will get lit up tmr and the Mets will blow it via Helsley in a high leverage situation (hoping to jinx this).

It took a long time but after 156 games the Met brain trust realized that a team with post season hopes requires an average fielding center. fielder who can hit close to 270 with 25 homers and 90 rbis.

The funny thing is the Dodgers are extremely beatable right now. A win like last night can set up a streak…but I feel like I’ve felt this way like 5 times this season. Hopefully the Alvarez HR is the catalyst.
