New York Mets 2025 Season

Pete top 3 definitely so far, but we’re only 25 games in.

But lindor not even top 10 this year(so far) , and last year he was over hyped.
2024 Lindor was 9th in NL OPS, his best category was 4th in runs scored.
Lindor was not in top 10 in RBIs or average. I’m glad he’s on team, he’s an all-star,
and above average defense, but I laughed each time I heard MVP chants.
If we are going strictly by numbers, then he may not be an MVP, but he is close.

But, Lindor is the team MVP and most indispensable Met. He not only is clutch, but he embraces the leadership role and all the responsibilities that come with it. He is always doing Mets charity events. This allows the other players to go about their business.

You can just tell how much he means to his teammates by their reactions when Lindor does something to win a game.

Lindor is everything we want in a professional athlete. Ecstatic he is on the team I root for.

Where did he rank in those categories among Shortstops ? You can make stats say what you want but his numbers for an excellent SS that plays everyday are MVP worthy

The positional value for Lindor is massive though. When your SS hits 35 homers and plays gold glove defense with + speed...that's such a ridiculous head start on your competition.

I thought Lindor was amazing last year. I can't believe we have that guy.

AMAZING HOMESTAND! But, Diaz got hurt at the end of the game and took himself out. Not good. Pete Alonso
is living his best life these days. Will be very sad if Sterns convinces Uncle Stevie to not show him the money before the end of the season.

not good with Diaz, this team has something it’s only April.

We have some winnable series coming up. We need to pile wins up before the Yanks, Boston and Dodgers stretch. Then we swing back with Dodgers, Atlanta and Phils, Milwaukee and Baltimore. That is a tough month stretch.

Spot on.
One of the reasons you can have offensive deficits (like CF, C) in the lineup or slumps/slow starts (Soto, Vientos) and still win.

No Mets tonight. However, Brandon Sproat makes another start. Last outing was 6 shutout innings but…not a lot of swing and miss as he only had one K. It’s his 4th start and Worcester Red Sox have talent. Good test.
