I’ll wait before I completely buy in on Canning. That being said my expectations were so low for Canning that he’s already exceeded what I thought he could do. Hope he keeps it up.
The Mets season is about getting to the postseason and winning.I would have signed Quintana at the time, but Canning has already exceeded my expectations for him for the year. We have some really smart baseball people making decisions. I have full faith in Stearns.I’ll wait before I completely buy in on Canning. I’ll have complete faith in Stearns when we are hoisting the WS trophy. Right now it looks good but with a massive payroll and money to eliminate mistakes this is about PLAYOFFS and WS. It’s been almost 40 years and like St. John’s it’s time.
