In Fran F. years he used to post as an enthusiastic SJU fan on line as "Giggy Dog", forget which site. He was working at LaSalle HS then if memory is correct.

For those who have no clue about nick v and this announcement...good, bad, ugly???

No clue what type of fundraiser he is/will be but he was a total tool and shill on twitter.

He was a grain of sand on the tool scale compared to the King of Kings of tools on Twitter.

And who would that be 72 for the uninformed who are not on Twitter ?

I'm still trying to figure out how people know who the new money guy is/was on twitter and the aol boards. lol

Geez, I hope that the negative comments about him are wrong. Kevin Barry became a good friend to me over the years and it would be disappointing not to have the same kind of guy in his place. I could go to Kevin for anything and he would respond - even evenings and weekends. I'm going to be positive until I experience otherwise.

Geez, you are a high maintenance season ticket holder!!!!
Evenings, weekends? In 40 years I think I needed them twice after receiving my tickets and both times they were useless. You want excellent customer service and support for non students go to Chapel Hill or Lexington. If you are a student, go to Duke were they get the prime seats. At St. John's, where we haven't been to a Final Four in over 30 years, they charge us New York Broadway prices for imaginary powerhouse tradition and success. It's like hearing Donald Trump promising to make America Great Again knowing deep down he is only setting you up for disappointment.

Kevin B. is a great guy and became a good friend. Sometimes he would call me at 7 or 8 in the evening to let me know there was an event or an extra ticket he was able to get for a big game etc. He also got me into the Mullin HOF breakfast on the Saturday morning of the event. I don't expect anyone to do these things, but Kevin was terrific to me.

Apparently Avon Barksdale's resume was rejected.

Rumor has it that unpaid consultant Tom Pecora vetted the resumes. Avon never stood a chance.
