New season ticket charge from ticket office

On Wednesday I was notified of a pending charge on my credit card for $520 from StJ. I had used the divided payment plan and only expected a $130 charge on December 1. I contacted the ticket office, they said a few other people had called and a sales associate would call me back. Well no call back and today the charge was posted onto my credit card account. Has anyone else had this problem and was the charge explained to them? Thanks.

Yes, I was overcharged as well. Apparently it was a mistake by Ticketmaster. They've issued refunds but I haven't received mine yet. They issued another charge as well on the 8th.

I was charged on 11/2 and then I was charged two more times (on two different cards) today. Why? Who knows with SJU. When I look at the account information on MyJohnnies (which looks like it was designed and last updated in 1995) it gave no answers. I didn't have the strength to call them today as nobody in the ticket office ever knows anything.

Same old, same old.

When I went to the exhibition game I had an issue downloading my tickets, there were college kids at the ticket office who couldn't help me at all I had to ask like 4 different people to help me by the entrance it took over 20 minutes to get into the game, i was definitely not happy! But Rick P is going to get us the 21st century I guarantee things will change over there, because they better if want to be a real deal program!

Guys, ticketmaster administers everything to my knowledge. Whereas i used to contact the ticket office in the past, now I'm directed to purchase thru my ticketmaster account. Billing snafus happen. I will check my account and look for overcharges.

We outsourced several responsibilities to avoid bandwidth errors we had in the past. The website is 100% ticketmaster, not sju designed and maintained and the eliminstion of paper tix a 1000% improvement.

Now if you want to bitch at ticketmaster I'm with you all the way.

I have a Ticketmaster account and cannot access my tickets on it. I have to launch something from a browser called a MyJohnnies account - same PW, so I get it, Ticketmaster is running it for SJU. Whoever is running it, it is a piece of crap. The tickets are mobile, yet there is no phone application. And although there is a message when I launch the site that the easiest thing to do is add my tickets to my Apple Wallet (I agree!!) it does not include the actual function to do so. It did, as recently as the Pace game, but no more.

As far as billing, when you go to the invoice page there is nothing listed anywhere that reconciles to what is being charged. It gives me an outstanding balance that changed three times this week, but no details by month.

Like anyone else I've had issues with Ticketmaster over the years. But these are tickets I bought as a season ticket holder of SJU from SJU. Any issues I have as a paying customer I will direct to them. If they have outsourced their ticketing to a vendor (Ticketmaster) it is their responsibility to manage the vendor. Not the customers job. I was involved in many outsourcing agreements in my career and cannot imagine telling my businesses customers that they needed to manage my vendors because I was incapable of doing so. That's customer service 101.

I got overcharged by $600+. Contacted Samantha yesterday who responded right away, as always, and assured me a refund would be issued by ticketmaster. What annoyed the hell out of me was that when I went to enter CA for the SB game, my ticketmaster account would not let me access my tix because I had a "past due balance", which I paid. Meanwhile I actually had a past due credit. Very frustrating.

I’ve also had trouble actually getting the tickets to load on that website for stony brook and now Michigan. I called and emailed the ticket office but they just never answered or responded.

Can you share her email address? Courtney (?) always used to respond but now I just send an email to the main ticket office account and they just ignore it I guess

Easier to transfer tickets with digital copies if not local to the events. I guess that is what Beast was inferring. It is 2023 not 1985 ;)
All of my posse back in NY, former HSS team doctors, therapists, friends & family and former professional reps who assisted me throughout my years with the team all SAFELY have their tickets in hand. Half of them don't have a Ticketmaster account. I gladly paid extra for First Class tracking and insurance for my peeps.
