BE Tourney cannot be far behind!

Smart move. NCAA tournament draws people from a wide geographic area. They don't want those people going home and infecting their local communities.

It may be too late for tonight's SEC and BE tournament games? People have already started traveling to attend.

ACC Tourny started last night. What times we are in.

Mark Emmert says the NCAA is looking to move the Final Four out of Mercedes-Benz Stadium into a smaller venue in Atlanta.

Regional sites could also be moved from the currently scheduled arenas to smaller venues in same cities.

The plan is to keep sites for the 1st round as is.

Should move all Eastern Region games to Carnesecca Arena, where the intense equatorial heat will kill all virus germs.

I wonder how the teams will perform without fans? They practice without people cheering. Hopefully they'll still play competitively in almost empty buildings.

Maybe Carnesecca Arena will get some games.

Tournament just got ruined. They'd better pump in some crowd noise or it's going to feel like we're watching Sewanhaka vs. Floral Park.

The ACC will play the rest of its conference tournament with limited attendance

I feel a lot of upsets happen when they crowd gets behind the underdog. I think we'll see less upsets this year. Then again my theory could be full of shit...I guess we'll see :-D

This is getting very very scary just before tipoff of the Jazz vs Thunder game the game was stopped. Utah Jazz player Rudy Goebert was ill and tested positive for coronavirus the teams are now in quarantine and the NBA is suspending the season indefinitely!!

"My prediction is if things escalate in this country as we've seen in other parts of the world I suspect it's going to be very difficult for them to hold onto the NCAA Tournament." -- Val Ackerman

Not a Goodman fan, but this imo is not a bad thought;

Hey NCAA: Just move forward with the Selection Show on Sunday to give teams what they rightfully earned, suspend the actual tourney for the time being and look at all alternative plans over the next couple weeks/month in hopes the tournament can actually be held.
