NCAA Tournament Thread

Watching this Seton Hall game, I'm getting bad flashbacks to our game with the Zags in this same building, five years ago.

This is a slightly lower-scoring version, but it's basically been the same game.

I'm about to have my best opening day in a long, long time.

So far, I've only lost one game (UALR/Purdue) today.

I got that one. Missed on Yale. In hindsight, angry I missed that one because I usually pick Baylor to lose and I think Drew is a horrible coach.

I don't think I watched Wich St all year other than the other night but man do they play hard

I picked them but hedged my bets by having them lose in the next round. I'm not sure that happens.

Baker has been there so long, his kid is about to commit there. May be the first father/son combo to play college ball together.

I want him to somehow end up with the Warriors in the worst way.

I liked what I read about Yale, and wasn't too enthralled what I've seen from Baylor, so I picked Yale. Not to mention, I thought that was the best scenario for a 12th seed to beat a 5th seed, per the brackets.

I was "thisclose" to being unblemished today, as I nearly picked UALR to beat Purdue, but obviously changed my mind.

I was just texting my friend who went to providence during her game telling her why I hate gonzaga and sitting in the hotel room in dublin on sy paddnys night at like 2 am punching and throwing pillows because I was so angry :)

Is it my imagination, or does it seem like the Big East Tourney winner always struggles in the NCAA tourney?

Not "always" but Seton Hall isn't looking good against Gonzaga, and Whitehead is 3 for 18 (0 for 9 from beyond the arc), and Carrington has been very quiet.

Gordon was fouled but horrible T you idiot Willard. Just when momentum started turning

I picked the Zags, as I didn't like Seton Hall's bigs going up against Gonzaga's bigs. I also sensed a semi-home court advantage for Gonzaga. Not to mention, I kinda felt Seton Hall overachieved.

There is still plenty of time left in this one, but that's how I viewed things.

PROVIDENCE !!!!!!!!

Wow! Unbelievable ending!

Bullock bailed out Dunn..

True Dunn's shots in the last minute were rushed and ugly but he did hit two huge threes including the one that tied the game at 68 and one huge steal.

Agree but need to play like a first rounder for them to have any chance going forward...too many so so shooting nights

They better tighten up their defense. They gave up way too many uncontested baseline drives.

I thought SH was kind of plodding the 1st half and part of the second but they got their legs back now

Derek Gordon is the first guy to play in the dance on 3 different teams. Interesting bit of trivia.

If there is one team BE team I want to see exit early it's the Hall and since my bracket is already busted...
