I love Walter but SJU won 31 games and won the BE by 3 full games and the BET and was the 2 seed in the West.Watching Florida/Maryland game. IMHO if Clayton Jr. followed Pitino, we’d be playing tonight!
We have Clayton, we go undefeated and still playing. No knock on our team, just an observation watching him play.I love Walter but SJU won 31 games and won the BE by 3 full games and the BET and was the 2 seed in the West.
Yeah he is great but let's not act like SJU was in the olay-in in Dayton without him...
They made up pretty well after not landing him.
Yes, but the one thing we lacked was a high quality 3pt shooter which Clayton is. He shot 38.7% from three this season.I love Walter but SJU won 31 games and won the BE by 3 full games and the BET and was the 2 seed in the West.

I get it but they still won 31 freaking games. WITHOUT him.Yes, but the one thing we lacked was a high quality 3pt shooter which Clayton is. He shot 38.7% from three this season.
Ridiculous call and then blew the charge call on the same guy 30 seconds later. And now Bama off to the races. Momentum.Tony Padilla, the ref that called Kadary’s 5th foul from a mile away inserting himself into the BYU/Alabama by calling a soft technical after a made 3.
What is it with these guys
It's from way back (1980) but one year in the NCAAs we had a bye in the first round only to be rewarded to play Purdue with Joe Barry Carroll. On their home court. Needless to say, we did not win.BTW some evidence that it would not have been out of the question for SJU to get Newark with a 4 seed.
Purdue being a 4 and playing in Indianapolis vs 1 seed Houston is not exactly fair. They will have a decided homecourt advantage.
Even Kentucky the 3 vs 2 Tennessee in Indianapolis is a bit unfair. Kentucky borders Indiana so I will bet they will be a lot of UK fans there.
In fact I remember back when UK played Indiana annually there was a time in the 1991-92 and 92-93 seasons they played each other (Knight vs Pitino) "away" from their campus sites. So in the 91-92 season the game was in the Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis. And the following year in 92-93 the return game was in Louisville-Freedom Hall.
And how does the NCAA keep giving him big spotsTony Padilla, the ref that called Kadary’s 5th foul from a mile away inserting himself into the BYU/Alabama by calling a soft technical after a made 3.

The guys that assign the refs are former refs and it’s all one big fraternityAnd how does the NCAA keep giving him big spots
