UConn gave the Florida all they could handle.
The biggest benefactor of yesterday’s Ark-SJU result- The Florida Gators.
 
The real one who got away..Norchad Omier. He the Zuby equivalent on the defensive boards and he’s his equal in terms of switch ability on the perimeter. Size or rebounding would have never been an issue.

If we landed Omier there almost certainly would have been no Aaron Scott. Obviously Omier would have raised the ceiling in that swap but there is a definite trade off there

No sense in saying anything negative about Scott, but you take that trade no?

Dude is never going to win another title and ten years from now he'll still be doing the "two rings" thing to fans taunting him from the stands.

Expecting Cooley in his 3rd year at Georgetown to start earning his money there.

We'll be better and I believe so will UConn.

We'll need Creighton & Xavier as well.

Maybe this is the best Marquette can be under Shaka.

you’d hope the revenue sharing helps the big east but I’m pessimistic about programs’ outlooks.

I expect UConn, us and Creighton to be very good next year.

Marquette will take a a few steps down if Shaka is stubborn about the portal.

X without Miller could be a big step back. Nova is TBD but losing Neptune is a net positive.

Georgetown has been a big disappointment and it’s time for Cooley to win there.

Providence, Butler, Seton Hall all don’t have great resources and may be stuck in the lower half of the leagues.

Hopefully DePaul can grow from this year and get to .500 in conference play.
