Dink - where in SC are you again? Near Greenville or Columbia?

I've been to Big Ed's and Beasley's many times. Lawmanfan apparently knows good eats. Come visit and I'll take you to Bullock'sYou people are in NC and posting pictures of pizza instead of BBQ? GTFOH with that.
Lemme know when you're going to Camel City or Big Ed's Country Market or Beasley's Chicken & Honey and I'll make the trip down to catch up with ya
Not a southern barbecue fan in the least even after being down here for 13 years. Give me a NY shell steak, loin lamb chop or salmon steak on the grill and I’ll take it over that stringy pork “barb - be - q” any time and every time but that’s just me.I've been to Big Ed's and Beasley's many times. Best fried chicken I have ever had is at Bullock's, so you've got optionsNot a southern barbecue fan in the least even after being down here for 13 years. Haha. I actually love North Carolina, just not a real big fan of southern barbecue plus my wife won't even try it so we never go near barbecue restaurants. Having said that, I do love smoking baby back ribs on my Big Green Egg.Worst transplant ever? Possible. Very possible.
Doing some today in my pellet smoker.Haha. I actually love North Carolina, just not a real big fan of southern barbecue plus my wife won't even try it so we never go near barbecue restaurants. Having said that, I do love smoking baby back ribs on my Big Green Egg.
You have redeemed yourself. I have the large version of the Weber Smoky Mountain (the smaller previous version gave its last full measure of devotion and had to be replaced with a larger version because of course it had to be the larger version).Haha. Sure on the pellet grill on the left…use the Weber on the right for steaks and things that cook quickly. Ribs are low and slow. You have redeemed yourself. Alumni Hall you lost me at "pellet." Hopefully not also electric.
I should be less reflexively judgmental - at least when it comes to my SJU brethren.View attachment 2896 Sure on the pellet grill on the left…use the Weber on the right for steaks and things that cook quickly. Ribs are low and slow.

My apologies, gentlemen - you are all studs.
on the other hand, there are definitely times when it is appropriate to be reflexively judgmentalIf you hate the pellets you're really going to hate the smoking box I drop into my Napoleon grill.
Though I do use wood, not pellets.
