I’m starting this thread so I can come here and rant when the Knicks don’t get anyone this Sunday

KD is announcing where he’s going tonight on Instagram. Knicks are apparently in decent shape but we will know tonight either way

Heard Durant and Leonard were talking about playing together, and apparently only the Knicks and the Clippers.
Clippers will get them if they play together, why would anyone want to play for James Dolan's Knicks.
Daddy Charles was a good man, sonny not so much

Not getting my hopes up. KD's buddy from the OKC days, Kendrick Perkins, says he believes KD either stays with Warriors or goes to Nets with Kyrie. I think only hope Knicks have of making a big splash is if Leonard and KD want to play together and prefer Knicks to Clippers; but Leonard is clearly an LA guy.

Knicks make SJU's last 20 years look like a golden era. Any rumor of good news for our Knicks is always fake news...

Dolan has to sell.

These guys going to the nets to me says these guys got together and decided “we want to play in NYC, but not for Dolan”

Dolan is impediment and has to sell the team. Despite huge cap space, he has failed to make this an attractive place to play. It's not even worth being a fan of the Knicks until this regime is over.

I guess I’m in the minority tonight. The Knicks offseason was shot the moment KD went down. And I wanted NO part of him after the injury. Kyrie has always been meh to me after recurring injuries and his Celtics stint. KL was the catch but there was no way he was coming to NY.

So a reasonable contract to a young double double machine in Julius Randle plus a core of young players in RJ, Trier, Robinson and Knox playing together and developing puts the rebuild off a year with lots of draft picks and still mondo cap room. I’m actually cool with that.

I told one of my good friends (who's a big Knicks fan), who really thought the Knicks would land either Durant or Irving if not both of 'em, that the Knicks' chances had gone out the window once the Knicks didn't land the #1 pick. I told him they probably would come on board if the Knicks had landed the #1 pick and gotten Zion Williamson.

Otherwise, it wouldn't happen. Well, we now see how it turned out.

Would love to see Knicks sign Terry Rozier. If they had him and Randle to pair with Robinson, Barrett, Knox, Dotson, Trier & Smith that would be a decent young core to work with. Knicks fans look for small victories by necessity.

Rozier is replacing Kemba supposedly

There is a lot of talk here in NC about that. I really like Rozier. If he doesn't go to Knicks, Charlotte would be ok second choice...

I didn’t want Durant once he got injured. I’m a fan of the random signing. If RJ is the goods the knicks have some pieces
