NBA Draft 2025

Height without shoes truther. lol.
Here is the guy listed below him on your list. And then mentioned in article right after it.

“Gaines is really small for essentially a shooting guard, measuring 6’1.25 in shoes and weighing 148 pounds”

Same size as he’s listed *barefoot on the list

That, and he will be 24, is definitely the reason why I don't think he'll be a first rounder. I'd be shocked if he keeps up shooting at that rate. But if he somehow does, I think a team may be willing to take the flier. Again, would be completely shocked if he does.

Dixon is 6’6” (listed at 6’8”) wide body. You don’t don’t see many guys at that height and building the NBA.

No Johnnies on the list. Mgbako is not on the list either, who I'll continue to monitor until I'm told he is definitely not entering the portal lol.

Interesting names:
Thomas Sorber is #17
Kam Jones #19
Ian Jackson #29
Ryan Kalkbrenner #30
Walter Clayton Jr #36
Jamir Watkins #49 -- if everyone's granted five years of eligibility, maybe something to monitor
Eric Dixon #56

nature of the game but losing Sorber would be a tough loss for Cooley. Hey that’s what NIL is for.
I was surprised to see him that high. A generation ago, I think he'd be another long line of lottery pick Hoya big men. But he doesn't have an outside shot and seems to be a step slow and a couple inches too short to be a PF/C (which I know is insane to say but the NBA is a completely different beast).

I expect this to be the high water mark of mocks and he'll be back.

I’m sticking to it. I know it says at the very top heights are in bare feet but there are different sections, combine, gleague, and Portsmouth.

Daniss listed right above him and as 6’3 and 1/4 without shoes, that would put him at 6’5 listed height.

there is no way Dixon is 6’8 without shoes! They would be listing him as 6’9 plus in college.

Btw not arguing with you, you brought the sources. I just don’t trust them
They should include the shoes in the height, IMO, since nobody plays the game without them.

more Ian Jackson or Clayton threads are always welcome when it gets boring at season end

So you are saying there is a chance all 3 are on St. John’s next year???
A couple of people here were saying Boogie's people were talking about returning to NYC. It got shot down since they said he's going to the draft. But if he's not a first rounder -- and, by his play on the court, I don't know why he would be -- him coming here would make all the sense in the world.

We were also extremely aggressive with getting Jackson here despite his commitment. Guy is in a big slump, UNC is bad, and Davis is on the hot seat.

🤷‍♂️

Oh I’m on board with your insinuation. And don’t forget. Matt a and Jackson are very close.

Weak draft…Karaban 31?
Good spot for him. He can look good playing with good players. Slip to first pick of second round and he has a 10-game NBA career.

*Whoops, had 32 teams in my head for some reason. That's a terrible spot for same reason above

In a good year, Karaban would go undrafted let alone 1st round…IMO, Champagnie is a good comp, played with much weaker supporting casts, was arguably a better player and went undrafted

Can’t always go by draft status. Both Brunson and Hart were end of first round picks/early second round picks.
